The service provision and access of the ACTRIS Data Centre is described in detail in the Milestone “MS113: Final assessment of access provided and quantity of data downloaded (M48)”, included as Appendix to this Deliverable. The data management of the ACTRIS in situ data is led by NILU, and the EBAS data repository is used for all data. The service provision and access to ACTRIS in situ data is described in detail in section I, II and III in the Milestone attached.

The concept and description of ACTRIS variables and ACTRIS data was approved by ACTRIS SSC 1st May 2013 and described in the public document entitled “The concept and description of ACTRIS variables and ACTRIS data “available for download http://www.actris.eu/Portals/97/Publications/data%20concept/ACTRIS_data_concept.pdf. This includes a detailed list with all ACTRIS variables together with recommended instruments and methodologies. All data are available from http://actris.nilu.no, in addition to the topical databases.

The box summarize the sites and variable with of data available from the project at the end.

By the end of ACTRIS, measurement data from about 60 sites and ~130 different atmospheric variables were included in the ACTRIS data centre

• 99 different trace gases measured at the surface • 10 aerosol variables measured at the surface • 10 aerosol profile variables • 8 cloud variables The measurements are done with 25 different methodologies and the time

resolution varies from 1-2 days per week to seconds All data are available from http://actris.nilu.no and handled by 3 highly

specialised topic data bases with strong links to the data providers, ACTRIS networking activities and user communities
