May Outreach of the MonthThe Rosebud, SD Native American Family Work Project isour May Outreach of the Month. St. Luke’s has traveled toRosebud for the past seven years, where family teams haveworked with the Lakota people through a variety of expe-riences. There are still a few spots left on this year’s trip,which takes place June 23-29 and is great for families withchildren who are at least seven years of age. For informa-tion on that trip, stop by the table in the Narthex this morn-ing or come to an orientation meeting this Saturday, May18 at 10AM in N101/102. Your financial contributions willsupport Tree of Life, which helps with school kits, wintercoats, warm blankets and many other critical needs of theRosebud Reservation. You may make a donation and placeit in the offering basket (made payable to St. Luke’s with“Rosebud” on the memo line) or on our website. Thank you.

Mother’s Day Gift?The Sowers are having their annual plant sale this morn-ing in the West Passage between services. Come check outsome great plants harvested from many of our personalgardens. The plants are mostly perennials, and proceedshelp us to maintain the Sowers garden, Entrance 16 andthe urns at the main entrance to St. Luke’s. The Sowersvolunteer their time and talent to tend these areas, andboth novice and experienced gardeners are welcome to joinup. For more info, contact Gail Corn at 843-1244.

Green Habit of the MonthIn order to help you form "green" habits, the Green Min-istry is introducing a Green Habit of the Month. May's habitis E-Waste Recycling. Next Sunday, May 19, RecycleForcewill have a truck parked in the front parking lot and willtake anything with a cord. It is illegal in Indiana to throwthis e-waste in the trash. Take advantage of this easy op-portunity to get rid of e-waste next Sunday.

Love Apple ProjectOn Sunday morning, May 19, participate in a Sowers “growand give” project. You get a tomato (aka “love apples”)plant to grow in your soil to water and nourish during thegrowing season. At harvest time, you give the produce tothe Sowers to be donated to a local food pantry. Sendoff Service for Dr. Marion MillerMembers of St. Luke’s and the Later@St. Luke’s congrega-tion will formally send Dr. Marion Miller on a Clergy Re-newal Leave with a special worship service on Sunday, May19, 6PM in Robertson Chapel.
