We are publisher of Southeast Asia’s first Swimming Pool & Spa Magazine and or-ganized the first International Pool & Spa Trade Show in Tropical Asia, the POOLASIA EXPO 2011 in Phuket, which was supported by the Government of Thailand and inter-national organizations. Here we awarded ecologically friendly tech-nologies and resorts for their outstanding sustainable design of their pools.

We developed a 5-Star Quality Rating System, “QRS” in order to allow consumers, tourists, investors, architects and especially the op-

eration and management of hotels & re-sorts to value pool quality.It is scaled from “Safe Pool” for a 1-Star pool to “First Class Quality Pool” for a 5-Star pool, which stands for healthiest water and crystal clear water conditions like in the Alpine region. Allergenic chemi-cal by-products, which are often mutagenic are for example banned here. QRS is based mainly on physical, chemi-cal and hygienic parameters and incorpo-rates national standard of Thailand and as benchmark the world’s most superior swimming pool standards of Switzerland, Austria & Germany.
