TRANSPORTATIONAtryl® resin sets the new standard for sheet molding composite (SMC) Class A surface excellence. Qualification for Atryl among automotive OEMs has come from Chrysler, Ford and General Mo-tors. The expansion of Atryl technology into medium- and heavy-duty trucks is seen on applications for Freightliner, Sterling and Volvo Trucks. Other automotive technologies supported by AOC include low density and “green” materials.
BATHWAREAltek® bonding resins provide superior adhesion to acrylic and ABS liners in exclusive formulations that lower emissions in the workplace and environment. AOC resins for tub and shower manufacturing are low-styrene formulations that allow higher filler loadings and provide shorter cure, de-mold and green-strength cycles.
CULTURED MARBLE & SOLID SURFACEVicast® resins and Vibrin® gel coats are designed for manufac-turing the world’s best cultured marble, onyx and solid surface applications. For the manufacturer, emphasis is on stringent re-quirements for optimum viscosity, filler compatibility and cure. For the end-user, emphasis is on excellent color stability, clarity and resistance to impact, heat and moisture. New low-HAP clear Vibrin gel coats combine excellent processability with superior resistance to moisture and yellowing.

GEL COATSVibrin® gel coats are engineered for color and gloss retention, weatherability, crack resistance, durability and ease of ap-plication, even in low-HAP formulations. Gel coats are avail-able in standard colors or can be precisely custom-matched to customer specification by experienced technicians using state of the art equipment and software.
COLORANTS & ADDITIVESAOC specializes in standard and computer-matched Chroma-Tek® colorants and pigment dispersions for cast polymers, molding compounds, polyurethanes and other material sys-tems. Chroma-Tek additive technologies include B-sides and thickening and conductive dispersions. Chroma-Tek benefits are optimized when the colorant, additive or dispersion is synergized into an eminently compatible system that includes AOC resin and gel coat.
