of cybercrime. In the last
few days, several persons
have informed police
stations, that money has
been fraudulently
withdrawn from their
accounts using ATM cards
in the mainland particularly
Delhi although they have
not given their ATM cards
to anyone. The fraud is not

General public cautioned to be vigilant &change PIN of ATM cards in case of theft
limited to any particular bank and it seems to have affected customers of all banks alike. Further, in these transactions,
the money is withdrawn from the ATMs without disclosure of confidential information like ATM PIN.
The general public have been requested to change the PIN of their ATM cards immediately to avoid any such loss
on account of fraud. The ATM PIN can be changed either at the ATM machine or using internet banking or using
mobile app of concerned bank.
The Reserve Bank of India has defined limited liability of customers in Unauthorized Electronic Banking
Transactions. Hence, the customers who are affected by such fraud have been requested to approach the concerned
bank with an application within 3 working days for redressal of their grievance, a communication said.

treatment benefit upto Rs. 5 lakhs
dependent family member
and Permanent Resident
whose family annual income
is below Rs. 3.00 Lakhs. The
eligible person(s)/patient
can avail the cashless
benefit in any empanelled
hospital notified by the
Administration from time to
time ‘by completing the
codal formalities at Nodal
Cell (ANISHI)’.
As specified under the
scheme, the patient is to be
referred by the concerned
specialist of GB Pant
Hospital, Port Blair
thereafter, he/she has to
approach the Nodal Cell
(ANISHI) located at DHS
Office for cashless benefit
of the scheme. If the
beneficiary is a permanent
resident, he needs to submit
annual family income
certificate issued by
Tehsildar, a copy of Islander
/Voter /Aadhaar card and
Ration card. The pensioner
have to submit a copy of
Pension Pay Order. The
state Nodal Cell processes
the case within 02 days and
after obtaining approval of
the Chairman ANISHI,
orders are issued to the
empanelled hospital to
provide cashless benefit to
treat the referred patient
under the ANISHI Scheme.
In case the beneficiary is on
his personal visit to
mainland and had fallen
sick requiring emergency
treatment and gets admitted
to one of the empanelled
hospital under the scheme,

weightlifting, Manipuri lifter
Sanji ta Chanu made the
country proud by winning the
second gold medal in women’s
53-kg weightlifting event on
Friday. Sanjita Chanu also
broke the Commonwealth
Games record by lifting 84kg
in Snatch. She lifted a total of
192 kg (84 kg in Snatch and
108 kg in Clean and Jerk) to
win the medal for India.

with 182 kg, whi le New
Zealand's Rachel Leblanc-
Bazinet took bronze with 181

hockey team got back on track
as they defeated Malaysia 4-1
in a pool A clash in Gold Coast
on Friday. Defender Gurjit
Kuar’s brace helped the team
get to winning ways as she
converted two penalty corners
successfully in the 6th and the
39th minutes. Her goals were
followed by those of captain
Rani Rampal (56th minute) and
Lalremsiami (59th minute).
Malaysia’s lone goal came from
a penalty corner chance in the

Rashid. “It’s quite a good result,
in the second half we did much
better. Malaysia played well in

year-old from Haryana lifted a

rival, Vaipava Loane, fouled his
last two lifts to end with a total of
292kg. The youngster,
competing in his maiden
Commonwealth Games, holds
the distinction of being the

own gets admitted in empanelled /non-empanelled
hospital without completing codal formalities at State
Nodal Cell (ANISHI), the reimbursement of hospital
expense for such cases ‘will not be allowed’ under the

Due to technical snag, the services of the vessels MV Lapathy
at Baratang & MV Austin V at Kadamtala creeks have been
withdrawn from service since April 6. However, all out efforts
are being made by the Directorate of Shipping Services to
rectify the defects and to resume the services of MV Lapathy
& MV Austin V in the above route at the earliest on top
priority. The commuters have been requested to cooperate
with the DSS, a communication said.

MV Swaraj Dweep will sail for Chennai at 10 am from Haddo
Wharf on Apr.9, 2018. Excess baggage will be loaded from 2

be done from 7 am to 9 am on Apr.9, 2018. The embarkation
of passengers will be closed one hour before the schedule

IV. General information for all candidates:
1. The appointment will be purely on contract basis, initially for a period of 11 months and may be extended based on
performance and requirement.
2. The selection of the candidates for the above mentioned post will be made purely on merit basis as per the above
mentioned criteria of selection.
