PEMCO has been a pioneer and leader in the design, engineering and installation of the 737-200/300 cargo modifications.
The forward left side Cargo Door (140” x 86.5”) and cargo handling system are proven performers in over 50 in-service 737-300 aircraft. Continuous quality and functionality advancements have made the PEMCO 300 Cargo Mod a workhorse worldwide. Second Generation design enhancements include hydraulic and electrical system upgrades, newly designed lift actuators, latch actuators and sequencing valves for greater performance and reliability.
Nine pallet positions including eight full size containers or pallets and one smaller container or pallet. The full-featured cargo handling system includes a retractable sill plate and overrideable side restraints, all engineered to withstand the loading and unloading stress of the 737-300’s 42,500 lb. maximum payload.
With the freight hauling capacity of eight full size containers, and the versatility of a 30-minute changeover time to haul up to 147 passengers, the 300 QC provides optimum versatility. The QC features a Class E interior and numerous FAA-approved passenger interior configurations (LOPA’s).
PEMCO is again leading the way by being the first to market with the 737-400 conversion. With its increased payload and volume capabilities, the all new 400 may be the most desirable sub-30 ton freighter yet. In response to increasing market demand, Pemco offers three distinct options – a full-freighter, a Combi with passenger capacity of 72 seats and, now in development, a Quick Change design for the 737-400.
The 400 design includes all the 300 Second Generation design enhancements and upgrades, plus increased high wind and wet weather capability, and increased pallet position weights. And, for the first time ever in a converted freighter, Pemco’s 400 conversions have an unrivaled initial inspection threshold of 20,000 cycles since modification.
Ten full size ULD’s or nine full size plus one smaller ULD with advanced floor reinforcement, enabling some of the highest position weights in the industry. Cargo handling system options are operator-configurable, with full- featured functionality, including 108” over-rideable side restraints and a retractable sill protector.
The 400QC has an expanded freight hauling capacity of 9 full size containers or a quick-change seating configuration for up to 172 ± passengers, providing even greater payload, volume and passenger capabilities than the 300QC. Designs allow for numerous passenger interior configurations (LOPA’s).
A four ULD forward cargo area for full size containers or pallets with a 24,000 lb. payload, including capacity for a CFM56 engine and fixed seating for 72 passengers, distinguish the versatile, multi-purpose mission capability of the 400 Combi.
