schedule

In this workshop I will introduce ideas I cover in a longer course of the same name. We will explore how to flow from an idea in your imagination to the manifestation of that idea, moving through intention to completion. We will talk about creating what you love, through your love, discipline, and devotion. No musical or artistic knowledge or practice is required to gain inspiration and insight from this workshop.

Christopher Willits - “The Creative Process” Silvia Nakkach - “The Voices of the Voice”Ryan Kleeman - “Listening to Nature”

This course allows us to take a deep journey into the wonderful sounds of nature. Through observing, engaging, and active listening, we connect to the natural world in new and unique ways. This workshop will offer a snapshot of a longer course where our journey will include deep listening as well as capturing a dynamic array of sounds in the field.

This workshop is about extended vocal techniques, the art of sound expression, Silvia’s “Tone Magic”, and music improvisation applied to composition, recording, and sound in healing. An innovative approach to overcoming recording and performance anxiety will also be a focus in this session. Silvia teaches a graceful practice of impermanence leading to spiritual and creative autonomy. The voice as an instrument is the primary tool in this workshop, please feel free to bring other musical instruments along with you.
