A “WOVC” is about getting your

workspace to work for the people using it, while supporting

the work flow

In my experience a “WOVC” consists of 3 parts:

1. THE EYEWASH When you walk into the finished

work space for the first time, your jaw should drop at how visually appealing it is. EYE APPEAL IS BUY-IN APPEAL!

2. THE STORY You should be able to stand in the center of the work space and see how the work is

processed throughout the shop 3. THE STANDARDIZATION getting a work group to

come together and agree this is how we are going to process our work. In many cases, this is the first step at

standardizing work practices
