To work with Shapes first Customize the Ribbon! Add a New Group with Combine, Subtract, Union, Intersect & Fragment

This will allow to you combine shapes to make your own custom shapes

Start with a simple shape

Add texture with Shape Option>Pattern Fill

Choose the Pattern, Foreground & Background colors

Duplicate the filled shape and add other shapes or text to create different expressions

Add a background with Design>Format Background>Gradient Fill

Choose a Type, Direction and Color

Use the sliders to adjust the color positions higher or lower

Add organic shapes with the Curve Line shape tool

Add color and texture with Shape Option>Pattern Fill

Add multiple animations to one objectwith Add Animation button
