Today de La Haye runs a consulting company helping clients through analysis, statistics, and innovative strategy to bring businesses one step further.

Multiple types of stem cells are resident in the skin to maintain the skin’s physiology and structure. Recently the importance of protein molecules that stem cells release (secretome) in healing skin tissue has been recognized. Human keratinocytes, now defined as stem cells, were first replicated for hundreds of generations without losing their ability to make tissue. Later stem cells were replicated in the laboratory in a manner where the molecules that they release were used for therapeutic development. Join Dr. Maguire as he explains how the choice of stem cell type is crucial for the development of a safe and efficacious secretome to be used in skin care products.

Dr. Greg Maguire, Ph.D., FRSM, is a former professor of neuroscience and ophthalmology at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He was awarded a prestigious Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowship from the National Institutes of Health, and was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. Dr. Maguire has over 100 publications, multiple patents, and published his first book in 2018, “Stem Cell Released Molecules: A Paradigm Shift to Systems Therapeutics”.
