Basic Deployment with High Availability WorkflowThe following workflow diagram shows the high-level steps to set up a basic IM and Presence Servicedeployment with High Availability. Users have access to the core IM and availability features, such as basicIM functionality, presence, and Ad Hoc group chats after a basic setup. Optional features can be configuredto enhance user functionality.

Configure the LDAP settings on IM and Presence Serviceto allow Cisco Jabber users to search for contacts fromthe LDAP directory.

You should create an LDAP profile and verifyLDAP attribute mappings, even if your CiscoJabber client does not currently integrate withLDAP profiles on IM and Presence Service.
