Probation Process Update

• The Workday Governance Committee is currently working on process improvements to the probation process.

•We are proposing improvements that will include engaging Workday notifications for:• 3 month check in to ensure training is being completed

• 5 month check in for the manager to either sign off on a completion of probation or to extend

• 6 month notification to the employee that their probation has been completed.

• These times are based on a 6 month probation period and would be adjusted for probation periods of 9 or 12 months

•We are in the early stages of this process, and still need to work out many details of the business process flow.

ServiceNow Update –Help Us Help You

SupportNow—Help Us Help You!

When creating tickets to submit to the HRSC, please:

• Submit as much information as possible (especially for org structure changes)

• Attach screen shots of error messages, information displayed, etc. if possible

• Let us know the criticality—what is impacted, when do you need assistance by

• Remember to retain your ticket number. It helps if you have it if you reach out to check on the status of a request

• HRSC staff monitors tickets throughout the day and strives to either assign the ticket to the proper assignment group or respond directly the same day. Escalated issues may take longer to resolve.

HR Excellence – Find the Inside Info for Move Worker

Jessie Craney

18

Move Workers (Supervisory)

• This task moves a worker(s) or vacant position(s) from one supervisory org to a new supervisory org

• You can move more than one worker/position at a time to more than one different supervisory org

• Is approved by the BMO Partner

• This allows the BMO Partner to update the cost center if necessary

•Once a Move Workers is initiated on a supervisory org, you cannot initiate another Move Workers until the previous task has been approved by the BMO Partner

19

Move Workers

1. Search for “Move Worker”

2. Enter the:

a. Effective Date (we recommend a Sunday)

b. Supervisory Org that the position/worker currently reports to

20

Move Workers

3. Select the worker/position and the new supervisory org
