Lofoten Pro Camp is a practical, spacious and very robust tunnel tent offering low weight and high comfort for trips in all sea-sons. The vestibule can be fully opened, providing good views and effective ventilation, even in the rain. Despite its low weight, it has plenty of volume and height.

The inner tent has mosquito netting, and it’s easy to cook and store equipment in the large vestibule.

The aerodynamic design provides excellent stability in high winds, and is easy to set up when you’re on your own. 4-season ventilation and durable materials make this tent perfect for year-round adventures.

The Ringstind superlight range has always been dedicated to reducing weight. Every part of the design has been considered with that in mind.

For this edition, we added another challenge: to improve the usability of the tent so that it is not only light, but also easier to pitch and more comfortable to use. The pole configuration has been changed to increase internal volume without making the tent any longer. It also takes half as long to pitch - we know, because we timed it!

The Ringstind Superlight 1 is a compact, yet comfortable and functional tent that is easy to pitch yet surprisingly stable in windy conditions.

The Ringstind Superlight 2 provides additional width and two completely separate doors and vestibules for greater comfort. The best part is that we’ve been able to add all these details and extra features and yet reduce the weight even further.

REINSFJELL SUPERLIGHT 2 / 3REINSFJELL SUPERLIGHT IS A FLEXIBLE, FREESTANDING TENT WITH TWO DOORS AND TWO VESTIBULES.

Every detail on this tent is designed with a combination of lightweight and functionality in mind. Fabrics, guy points, peg loops, poles and vents are designed to reduce weight down to an ideal minimum.

The tent frame is designed with pre-bent pole-sections, which makes the walls steeper and increases the interior space and comfort level.

Four vents on the outer-tent and two large mesh panels on the inner tent ensure excellent ventilation and minimize condensati-on. On warm days you can keep the tent completely “open”, and still keep the mosquitos out.

Reinsfjell Superlight is the perfect combination of extremely low weight and high comfort level.

Spitsbergen X-Trem Camp is the sequel to the classic Svea Camp, the largest tunnel tent in the X-TREM category, and is the per-fect companion for long sled trips. With four identical poles it’s quick and easy to set up, and has ample headroom and sleeping space throughout - something you appreciate when the weather keeps you inside the tent.

The Spitsbergen X-Trem Camp’s aerodynamic design is particularly intended to resist severe wind. Combined with solid storm flaps around the tent, strong guy lines and extra guy lines, this tent is a safe place in all weathers. Like all of our X-trem series tents, the Spitsbergen X-Trem Camp is designed to allow double pole sets, for additional security in extreme wind.

With two entrances and two areas for gear storage you’ll always have one sheltered entrance. This also provides the possibility to store gear in one vestibule and cook in the other.

BIO:With solo expeditions to both the South and North Poles, as well as coast-to-coast solo crossings of the Arctic and the Antarctic, Børge Ousland has firmly established himself as the leading polar explorer of our time.

Børge started his polar career by crossing Greenland in 1986, while working as a deep-sea diver in the North Sea. Since turning to exploration full-time in 1993, Børge has successfully completed some of the world’s most demanding expeditions. His focus on thorough preparation emphasises training, teamwork and development of equipment and nutrition.

While planning new outings to remote places, Børge Ousland makes his living giving lectures, guiding trips, writing books (11 so far) and contributing to films from the wilderness. He has received several international awards for his expeditions, books and films and is one of the few speakers represented by National Geographic Speakers Bureau; a part of the National Geographic Society, Washington, D.C.

We are enormously proud of the fact that Helsport tents and sleeping bags have accompanied Børge on several of the world’s greatest polar achievements. Ever since his first expedition to Greenland in 1986, Helsport has had a close cooperation with Børge. He tests our equipment under the world’s most extreme conditions and has, with his unique experience, contributed to the development of several Helsport products.

The Trollheimen Superlight range offers thermal efficient and lightweight synthetic fiber bags. With the Thermolite T3 EcoMade fiber and shingle construction the range offers synthetic sle-eping bags that are highly compressable and that provides superior sleeping comfort.

The Trollheimen Superlight range is perfect for weight-consciousness trekkers and adventurers who enjoy the benefits of synthetic fiber, or travel in damp climates or wet conditions.

We have implemented our well-known thermal efficiency fit, which eliminates all cold spots in the sleeping bag and that results in exceptional warmth-to-weight-ratio for a synthetic sleeping bag.

The combination of Shingle fiber layering and Thermolite T3 EcoMade fiber has a comfortable down-ish feeling, which gives great sleeping comfort, flexibility and breathability. It also packs very small in your backpack. We selected a partially recycled synthetic fill that nonetheless meets our demanding standards of thermal efficiency.

The Shingle construction uses overlapping pieces of fibre blanket instead of a single sheet. This allows for greater freedom of movement and it also traps additional warm air between the layers. We have found in EN testing that shingle construction can be up to 10% warmer than a simple blanket fill design.

DOWN SLEEPING BAGS FOR YEAR-ROUND USE

The Rago is a range of down sleeping bags designed for temperatures ranging from T-Lim 0ºC til - 25ºC. To achieve the optimal weight-to-warmth ratio, we have used high quality duck or goose down. The 90/10 mix (90 % down, 10 % small feathers), and the 650 and 750 fill power, makes this a range that will give very good thermal efficiency, good loft and will quickly return to shape after compression.

The fit of the Rago bags has been meticulously designed to avoid cold spots. Cold spots occur when the down gets pressed against the fabric walls while you sleep. By extednding the widest points of the bag from the shoulder all the way down to the hip area, you can move around a bit without cold spots occuring, giving you a good nights sleep.

In addition we have designed a seperate bag for the kids called the Rago Junior, as well as custom models for ladies. This range has perfected the ratio of warmth to weight and packed volume.

INSULATION THERMOLITE® T3 EcoMadeThis insulation contains a minimum of 35% recycled materials such as plastic bottles. It delivers outstanding warmth while being extremely lightweight. Combined with good compression and recovery, THERMOLITE® T3 EcoMade insulation sets a new milestone in terms of wearer comfort.

A high level of water resistance keeps outdoor enthusiasts dry and comfortable, even in demanding conditions. In addition, THERMOLITE® T3 EcoMade technology has outstanding wash durability, which translates into longer garment life and lower environmental impact through fewer replacements and less trash. Utilized in our Alta Superlight & Trollheimen Superlight ranges, as well as the Spitsbergen outer bag.

PRODUCT DESIGN Thermal efficiency fit:Fit is critical and can make a huge difference to warmth. The goal is to reduce wasted space. If a sleeping bag is too roomy you’ll spend unnecessary energy heating it. A correctly-fitted bag maintains the insulation thickness, while one that is too small is both uncomfortable and not efficient.

Our fit has been meticulously designed to avoid cold spots. Cold spots occur when the insulation gets pressed against the fabric walls while you sleep. By extending the widest points of the bag from the shoulder all the way down to the hip area, you can move around a bit without cold spots occuring, giving you a good night sleep.

The foot box is constructed slightly differently in our newer models; It has been widened and angled outwards, letting the feet fall naturally when you sleep without creating cold spots around your feet.

Women and men lose heat in different ways and from different places, so customization for both user and temperature is important. That’s why we’ve boosted the fill in specific locations on the women’s bags to further optimize insulation.

On our new down bags the baffles are curved, preventing the down from moving around and ensuring no cold spots arise.
