UNIX lab endpoint sudo access worked with Vikram and got approval for elab team tp provide service account on

all Unix server

NCS forms submitted to team after adding network diagram and all required modification suggested by BCA .NCS

for is under BISM review and approval

A WPR meeting has been schedule WPR : 158011 review for AUPS_Identity_Manager_Operation Guide-2.6

Worked with Tech Writer and updated and review the guide again before sending note for WPR Process

Attending tech meeting only.Planned we will deploy federation manager in our lab incase greg approved it

federation manager deployed in our dev Lab server

We uninstall FM due to same server was used by job 2 dev.

Informed Greg that our cleanup submitted task is failure due to below :Primary Event. Event ID [980ecc19-3396efc5-6128abd2-77292eb9] Task "Cleanup Submitted Tasks": Failed to execute

CleanupSubmittedTasksEvent. ERROR MESSAGE: ORA-00001: unique constraint

(IM_ARCHIVE.PK_ARCH_TASKSESSION12_5) violated.raise ticket with CA : 20815021 01

send all logs and screen shot and enviromental details . Chris call us on 22sn feb and send solution to greg.this

issue with DB so DB team need to work with issue to fix this.We are getting this also in stage lab so planning to

test this CA solution in stage lab and then go to production.after getting confirmation from greg

We discuss the Issue wit DB team for our lab and they suggest first option that is purge data.activity was planned

for Friday but and in last moment Greg ask to postponned to it on Tuesday since they are still working on Stage

lab.schedule for Tuesday.

ON tueday, Stage lab DB team backup IM archive data and then purge IM_Archive .we run the Cleanup the

submitted task for the event older than week .This task run successfully.then we run same task to cleanup event

older then a week and Got failed with same error.We informed CA team and they able to recreate same issue in

their end and informed us this is IDM product defect .CA team will work with their engineering team to release

fix to resolve the issue.Under work around STage lab DB team will created script for delete or trunk the Archive

data place into an Oracle process that can be scheduled monthly in stage lab. Once this script schedule runs we

will schedule cleanup task submitted task for monthly.once this test in stage same work around will apply inProduction server as temprory solution untill fix not get from CA

DB team was planned to do this on schedule purge archive schema through Oracle scheduler . It was planned for

Friday 16th march 2012 on stage lab and Steve informed he need to reschedule on 26 th Feb 2012

Started working on Rened SSL Certificate on L3 Lab. Renewed the certificate on the one lab AMERCA Region,

While test found tha lab is down dute to storage issue.Worked with Tarun and raised request for the same to

lab team to resolve the issue.Once this done will test the same.

There is harddisk corruption issue and elab team working on the same to recoved our data.coodinating with

Tarun and elab team to fix the issue.

cerificate has been renew and tested in APAC, Tarun and Srikanth will have get confirmation from Jenniffer since

there is Directory server still unstable and lab ask totake action before HDD get failes again

BOM has been created for for EMEA and looking for cost information and other details. Greg and Mark us to

work with Gary to get these info ,A meeting schedule for Monday , work in progresss

Mark arranged for refresher training for the Support team .Had web server session on 6th April 2012

worked on some Staging issues like report - web server connection and access issue

Currently have 2 tickets open with CA for troubleshooting

RCM Issue 1 : (RCM Ticket #: 20903681-2)

Issue: Import connector Issue

Status : We had a session with CA support to troubleshoot the import connector for Windows NT and Unix SSH.

For the Windows NT connector there is an error in CAM/CAFT permission while connecting from IdM to the

endpoint. CA is currently investigating the issue. For Unix SSH the import connector failed to import any data for

all the endpoints(Linux, Solaris, AIX and HP UX). CA suport has gathered the required logs and are currently

investigating the issue. We have another session scheduled on 27th April to troubleshoot this issue.

RCM Issue 2 : Ticket # is: 20880562

Issue : RCM Authentication Module for SP5

Status : We have tried to implement the out of the box LDAP authentication module but itfailed. CA has

suggested thet the LDAP authentication module is functional in SP6.

RCM Import Connector Troubleshooting

We send reminder mail to CA Engineer and they replied back she had a few problems with her VM in the effort

to upgrade. She is planning to complete it today

We send a reminder mail to CA for asking the new update on both the issues still we dotn't have any update

waiting for CA update

we worked Twostage approver issue with CA Team, CA Engineer suspects that it may be bug with SP10. But she

said she would test on her VM by doing the same at Modify Users Endpoint Accounts Task.

In addition, She also suspects that it may not be the issue with Custom Participant Resolver Code compatibility

with SP10 as its even not working with OOTB Participant Resolvers.

She also said that she would open a CA ticket for this, if it even doesnt work on her VM.

we provided the HPVR to CA, after testing CA Engineer suspects that SP10 Upgrade might have changed the

resourceBundles (.properties files) but not the .jar files (code) which make use of these resourceBundles. So he

said that he would escalate this issue to the Development Team (as they only know that), which can take few

days to resolve.We are trying to reproduce the same issue with our test machine.

We are waiting for CA update, and remainded to CA ticket
