How rich are you?How rich are you? The number associated with the
concept of being rich varies, depending on your lifestyle
expectations and your country’s economic standards; it’sdicult to pin down a denitive number that can be
ocially recognized as rich. Most people think of money
when referring to richness. How much money do you
need to make you feel rich? Is it one million, 10 million or
100 million in your currency? When I was just a primary
school student, having a pencil box priced at 5 USD
made me feel rich. But when I grew up, the same pencil
box no longer made me feel the same way. I needed
more than what I had before. Therefore, richness is justan attitude.

You can decide what kind of richness you would like to have.
Most people possess things but they still feel that what they
have is not sucient and are always trying to compare
themselves with others. For example: if one day you received
an inheritance such as a house from your grandparents, you
would suddenly feel rich because, by society’s denitions,
the person who owns a house is rich. One month later, you
start thinking that you should have a swimming pool beside
your house. When you look at your neighbour’s house, you
nd that your house is too old. You start to feel poor because
your house is the smallest and oldest in the area. If you want
to be rich, start thinking that you are rich from the day you
received the house. You have turned from a rich to poor
attitude all by yourself while nothing in your external
circumstances has changed. Feeling rich is an attitude but
only having a healthy attitude can make you feel rich.
THE IMPORTANT THING ABOUT BEING AMILLIONAIRE IS AWARENESS.
Money is just a factor of life, not a goal of life.
Everybody wants money because it can be exchanged for
many goods. Some things cannot be brought by money;
although money can give us more opportunities in life.
Thus, money should be exchanged for quality of life. Don’t
let money control you; be in control of money.
Remember! What you need is only sucient money and
not richness. You may have another question: How much
money is sucient? The answer depends on your goals in
life. Having a right goal, you will get all the good things out
of life.
What is the real core value of what you need and want?
When you buy a handbag, what do you really want? Do you
want something hardy which carries all your things or do
you want to carry a branded handbag to show others thatyou are rich? As long as you have strong self-esteem, you
will never need or want a brand logo just to increase your
own value.
However, it does not mean you cannot buy expensive or
well-known brand names. As long as you have enough
money and desire the value and quality of a product you
can buy it. Being nancial self-sucient is not just about
saving but about having a balanced and sustainablelifestyle.
The true millionaire is a person who is a giver.
Giving can make us feel richer. It makes us feel that we
have enough. Warren Buett, the world’s second richest
man, regularly donates money to foundations around
the world every year. As cited in “A conversation withWarren Buett” at CNNMoney.com on 25th June 2006,
Buett said, “We did amass wealth, we were totally in
sync about what to do with it – and that was to give it
back to society.”
You do not need to be as rich as Warren Buett to also
give. Giving is relief. Unleash yourself from materialism.
While you are giving, you also open up your mind to
everything that surrounds you and appreciate what youhave. No matter how rich you are, you can only ll one
stomach, live in one house and use only one car at a time.
WHEN YOU KNOW HOW TO BE SATISFIED,YOU ARE RICH AS MUCH AS YOU WANT TO
BE RICH.

I have a stable income and no nancial diculties/burdens. But I still feel insecure and unsatised with what I have;
I’m always seeking new ways/opportunities to earn more while I don’t spend that much myself. Even my family has
advised me to take things easy as this aects my work-life balance. Please advise me on how I can improve my
situation.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Many studies have shown that once an individual is at or above an average income, there is no predictable
correlation between money and happiness. If you want to improve your psychological and nancial health, the
solution is not to focus on making more money but instead on developing a healthier relationship with it.
BE A MASTER OF YOUR MONEY:
• Money should not create stress in your life.
• Respect yourself and you will try to use money for a reasonably comfortable life without overspending or livinga luxurious lifestyle.
• Manage money wisely.
• Spend less than you earn.
• Learn not to “work for (only) money”.
• Resist temptation. Be a responsive spender not an impulsive spender.
• Learn to live within your means.
FINANCIAL SELFSUFFICIENCY
Suciency means moderation and reasonableness. Financial self-
suciency refers to being able to maintain a balance between
spending money and living your life while also feeling satised with
your nancial status.
Having a monetary goal:
• Stabilise your income.
• Achieve nancial freedom and become free from debt or you canbecome nancially free even if you are already in debt.
• Save money for future.
• Have time for your personal life.
If you’re already a master of money and have nancial self-suciency,
then you should spend your life for others, not only on money.
Here are some ideas why you shouldn’t focus just only on earning more
money:
• Money can buy your insurance, but not health.
• Money can buy things for your family, but not their love.
• Money can buy a luxurious lifestyle, but not your time.
Finally, you should consider the following questions:
• Why do you feel insecure and unsatised? Is it because you do not have enough money, or are you comparingyourself with the income of others?
• Why are you trying to make more money? Is it for the future or to buy luxurious goods?
• What is most important in your life? Is it money, family or something else?
• These answers will not only guide you to understand your thoughts and your core value but also help you tounderstand your situation better.
REMEMBER, MONEY IS ESSENTIAL BUT NOT NECESSARILY THE ANSWER.

FEEL REFRESHED EVERY DAY!In the modern world, many of us feel tired from spending many hours at work. It is inevitable that many of us will
experience an energy drain out while exhaustion and tiredness aect our performance at work. How can weovercome this problem? Is it easy to do so? A lot of people ask themselves these questions. Actually, it isn’t that
dicult. Keep in mind the following tips to stay fresh naturally.
FOOD• Eat breakfast.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and everyone needs it. It helps in
balancing your blood sugar levels, giving you energy to start a new day, maintaining
your weight, and improving your performance.
• Eat more sh.
Fish contains Omega 3 fatty acids which helps protect you from depression. Scientic
research proves that people with low levels of Omega 3 fatty acids in their brain aremore likely to become depressed. You should eat sh two or three times a week for the
simple reason that people who regularly eat sh have a lower rate of depression. In case
you don’t prefer sh, other foods containing omega3 fatty acids are walnuts, ak seeds,
cabbage and spinach to name a few.
• Eat more fruits and vegetables.
Fruit and vegetable are good sources of vitamins, minerals and dietary bre that may help to protect you from
chronic diseases, stroke, cancers, and perhaps other cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, researchers have found that
people who eat three servings of vegetables a day, particularly the green leafy type, hold onto their mental abilities
40% longer than those who eat less than one serving daily.
• Drink more water; drink less coee.
You should drink at least 8 glasses of water per day to stop yourself from getting dehydrated. Every cell in your bodyneeds water. When dehydrated, your body and brain cannot function well, causing headaches. While a lot of people
drink coee to stay fresh each day, drinking coee has more downsides than drinking water. Coee can cause
disturbances in heart rhythm, especially when drank frequently in higher quantities.
EXERCISE• Take a morning walk.
A simple exercise such as a morning walk can get you ready for your day by giving you high physical energy for
hours. It also helps you sleep better at night and also lowers your stress level.
• Stretch.Stretching is important for people of all ages! Stretching is just about
the simplest of all physical activities. You should stretch your legs, and
shrug your shoulders every hour. You can stretch while watching TV,
working on the computer, or getting ready for bed, etc. The benets of
stretching include reducing muscle tension, improving circulation, and
reducing anxiety, stress, and fatigue.
• Making time for exercise is easy.
If you think it’s hard to make time for exercise, here are some simple examples: taking the stairs instead of the
elevator, doing housework, walking around your oce for a break during the work day or during lunch, or just
standing up while talking on the telephone. You can do all of them every day!

MIND• Think positive.
The power of thoughts can shape your life. Positive thoughts,
words and attitude can bring about positive and happy moods.
In addition, it helps you cope with stress and can even improve
your health.
• Positive self-talk.
Self–talk refers to the dialogue that goes on inside one’s head.
People should articulate good thoughts because your
subconscious mind tends to believe the thoughts it hears. For
instance, if you say “I can handle this problem”, you probably
can.
• Smile every day.
You should smile as often as you can. It’s absolutely free.
Smiling is generally an expression of positive emotions,
which can uplift a soul, who in turn passes that energy to
another. Remember, when you smile you make yourself
and others feel happy and relaxed.

TIPS ON TEAM CONFLICT MANAGEMENT FOR THEBEST RESULTSWhen working as a team, sometimes conicts occur due to poor communication, or an error in informationbetween senders and receivers. The lack of reliable information may make the other party reluctant to concede.
Both parties may express inappropriate behavior such as showing anger, insults or rapping the table towards the
other party, which can exacerbate the conict and cause it to become worse. A mediator is necessary to help both
parties agree. The executive who will manage these conicts must be a supervisor or manager who supervises both
parties.
For the mediation process to succeed, it must be conducted as follows:
• Establish credibility. The mediator must have the mutual trust and acceptance of both parties and not be biased
towards either party.
• Understand the problem. The mediator should be the source of information and clearly identify problems,
priorities and analyse the situation to suggest solutions to both parties.
• Adopt a strategy of reconciliation. The mediator must assess the needs of each party and then select the
strategy to suit each party’s habits.
• Collaborate in the mediation process. The mediator should persuade both parties to see how they may benet
when both sides agree, as well as understand the disadvantages of a disagreement.
• Start the mediation process. Open the mediation process to each party. Using a positive tone and attitude helpsboth parties to control their moods and encourage each party to reveal their true thoughts.
• Separate the agreement issue from the conict issue, in order to ensure
that the mediator can control the situation.
• Give choices to the parties. Be a part of
giving possible suggestions to end the
conict and encourage the parties by
proposing solutions and a form of
compromise acceptable to both parties.
• The nal negotiation. It summarises the
entire agreement and understanding of the
parties. A written memorandum of agreement
in writing is optional, depending on whether
the parties agree on whether it is necessary to
do so or not.
Whenever problems arise, believe that all the problems will always have a solution. Use “mindfulness” not “emotion”
and then you will nd the solution to the problem.
