Work Experience Placement at 4Elementz CIC

Background 4Elementz is Community Interest Company based in Camborne and Redruth. Music: We use hip hop culture and media to engage young people and adults and help them work towards a creative career. We make music videos and support music production for local artists. Our projects have launched the careers of many local rap artists and producers. Working closely with Hungry Sounds and local music and graffiti artists we have helped established a vibrant local scene. Photography: We also create photography galleries locally and online as well as produce zein’s. Our Founder Kelly Thorne is a professional photographer and specialises in social documentary photography. Project have ranged from local history to documenting the international refugee crisis for a magazine project. Animated videos and graphic design: 4Elementz also runs a unique education programme where we create animated education videos, magazines, accredited courses and art materials and talks for prisoners, local schools and the community. We also provide a training, work experience and accredited digital badges you work experience placements in a range of media subjects.

In the Office you will assist with: - Media production in either; music, photography, videography or art work

content production, animation videos, magazine and grafic design. - General office tasks as required - Managing equipment and cleaning work areas - Learn about media skills and project management - Blogging and vlogging content creation - Using social media and learning about marketing - Learning about community project and charity work
