THE STEPS

Here’re steps to create custom design on Wordpress Page, so you can create a professional and unique look of landing page or minisite design.

1. Upload the file template-landingpage-v2.php to your theme folder (upload it to your current active theme). Theme folder are located on yoursitename.com/wp-content/themes/YOUR_THEME_FOLDER

2. For the file style-landingpage.css, you can upload it anywhere. Also for the images that you will use, you can upload them anywhere.

After you upload the template-landingpage-v2.php, on the edit page you’ll see the new Template on page attribute called “Landing Page Template V2”. Please select it and update your page.

CUSTOM FIELDS

Total all the custom fields are 15, but only 10 are the most important to properly setup your Landing Page / Ministe template. Please refer to screenshot below to fully understand how to use and add custom fields on your Wordpress page. 1. style Custom field style is the source URL of the Style Sheets. 2. bodycolor, bodyimage Custom field bodycolor is the color of your body page. Custom field bodyimage is the background image of your body page. Both of them will become the body background of page. Adding both these custom fields is not necessary, you can use one of the two. 3. topimage, headerbg Custom field topimage is the top background of your page. Custom field headerbg is the header image of your page. Almost landing page and minisite templates are using top background image, but some are not using it. Header image is mandatory. 4. headerwidth Custom field headerwidth is the width of the header image in pixel. 5. headerheight Custom field headerheight is the height of the header image in pixel. 6. contentbgcolor, contentbgimage Custom field contentbgcolor is the background color of the content area. Custom field contentbgimage is the background image of the content area. Adding both these custom fields is not necessary, you can use one of the two. 7. contentwidth

Custom field contentwidth is the width of the content area. It’s usually same with the contentbgimage width. 8. footerbgimage, footerimage Custom field footerbgimage is the background image of the footer. Custom field footerimage is the image of the footer. Some landing page and minisite templates are using footer background image, but some are not using it. Footer image is mandatory.

9. footerheight Custom field footerheight is the height of the footer image in pixel. 10. bulletimage Custom field bulletimage is the image for unordered list (UL tag - <ul>). 11. favicon (optional) Custom field favicon is favicon of your page. If you don’t know what is favicon, please read this Wikipedia’s article.
