Good news of great joy to you :) Merry Christmas!Just a quick update on life here at CornerStoneWe keep doing our best to love and serve Jesus. What good medicine to do that for us and others :)

I recently was reminded of how much our little selves matter One of our folks, Kara serving inBurma in SE ASIA, wrote about being on a bus and seeing young girls working on the road break-ing rocks. She was heartbroken at the sight. Then she did one of the most beautiful things I haveever heard of. She pressed her face against the window of the bus and smiled in a giant goofy wayand waved frantically and they saw her and they stopped and waved back and their gloomy facessmiled. I just love that story. Its so simple and so powerful. She didn't have anything to give thembut her smile and wave and it made a difference. I think about that a lot as I go to the jail or comehere to CornerStone or work for Frito-Lay. I don't have much but what I do have can really make

someones day. Little things matter to people and to God. God said that He remembers even acold cup of water given in His name and so I want to be like Kara and smile and wave and use mygoofiness in Gods service :) Our lives really make a difference regardless of how it feels or whatother people are doing. I get this one life to make a difference and its not as hard as I think it is.Loving Jesus makes a difference. Pursuing Him makes a difference. Being kind to the folks aroundus and to ourselves makes a difference. Thank you for your interest in my life here at CornerStone.Bless you and all of us to know and love Jesus more and to be full of the Good News of great joy.

    Dont give up!Kathy Wooten :)

I decided on a name for our great

    duplicatorChristmas CDs have

    copied brilliantly. Named after

Laura Stroup who God used to draw

me to Himself at our local mental

health facility when I was 18. She

gave me a Christian tape that I wore

out but it was during that time thatGod began to win my heart. I will

never forget her or the power of that

    one tape.(I am hoping to

Strouplicate that in the CDs we

    send out:)

What a pleasure to be a part of Kelcy Gallaghers CrossTraining to

be a long-term missionary in Shell, Ecuador atwww.casadefe.org.

What they do there is amazing70+ special need and orphaned chil

dren are cared for and loved with the power of Jesus. Kelcy is settle

in there now after a 90 day CrossTraining here at the Mission Base

in Wilmore and she says I am loving it! The people there love her

and so do the people herepowerful, beautiful lover of Jesus and of

    people.

    (L) Kelcy during her commissioning to Missionary Service (R) Kelcy back in Ecuadoafter CrossTraining. Bless her as she loves and serves Jesus there.

My sister, Heather, booked a very exciting Christmas photo

CI HOP Turns 1 in 2 14Just wanted to let you in on our

birthday coming up. Our House of

Prayer has been going for ten years

still going, which is a big deal. Its easy to start stuff and hard to

keep it going :) I am a better person

because of it. I am praying that we

grow deeper in love with Jesus and

more effective in our worship and

    prayers.
