Have you ever thought of taking a wonderful trip that will benefit people in need in a developing country? My sweet hairdresser Nagib from Unicutters on Chatham brought a young man in to visit a couple of weeks ago who impressed us all when he showed us pictures of his tapestries, like the one to right, which he has for sale on his website.

Raju Tuladhar of www.rajutapestries.com is the only male tapestry artist in Nepal, and was a tour guide for Nagib’s family on a recent charity trip to Tibet organized for the benefit of www.seva.ca to help people in need of glasses and medical care for sight problems. You must see Raju’s works of art! Check out the “responsible travel” trips you can take on www.planeterra.org
