To begin with, I want you to follow me back in time, to the year 1995 when Woodlite first opened it’s doors. Back then we were a small production company with a small crew and a limited amount of equipment in stock. What we did have, was a lot of ambition, heart and soul. That spirit took us to this date in 2014, a journey with hard work, long hours, set backs and joy. Nowadays we are a much larger company with a lot more resources at hand, and we have since 2005 shifted our focus to dry-hire, supplying our customers with production resources like lights and rigging.

The benchmark in our way of business, is to enlighten you to explore and experience what Woodlite is all about. Our vision is to change perceptions of business within entertainment lighting.

In real life terms and in practice we believe that you want your hire equipment in ”mint condition”. Therefore we tend to our fixtures, nurse and serve them so they act and looks like almost brand new. And the same goes to all the other equipment we have in stock.We deliver the equipment in tailor suited flight cases, to the place where you want it, and in time. We want your experience to be as good as it can be, from delivery via production to pick-up. That’s why we have implemented a rigorous care and attention to details. Be-cause at the end of the day we feel a great satisfaction in knowing that we have committed ourselves to the task in giving you an enhanced experience!

As a company we have existed to this date for almost 19 years. During these years, we have collected a whole lot of experience. Experience that we have learned from and now incorporate in our main business. It’s very bright and super-fast with a sharp parallel beam that cuts through the air and across video with ease. It can project a static or rotating glass gobo to produce precision in-air and surface images with an even focal plane. Tight or at full 20 degree zoom, the output is crystal clear and brilliant. Add in either rotating, 6 way linear or 8 way circular, prisms to create wide reaching effects across any set. Drop in the frost filter and use any of the 13 rich colours to create a smooth even wash. The Pointe has an output far greater in size, quality and power than seems possible from it’s small, lightweight body – due to the efficient short arc 280 W discharge source and the Robe optical configuration. This new technology fixture even travels efficiently in a case of 4 and will cover all your needs – Beam, Spot, Wash, FX - there is no point in using any other fixture.

Back by popular demand, the VARILITE® VL500 80V™ Wash luminaire is based upon the Emmy® Award-winning VL5™ Wash luminaire, but with significant design improvements. The VL500 80V utilizes a bright 80V tungsten lamp for applications where more intensity is needed. With it’s integral dimmer, the VL500 80V allows dynamic intensity control and smooth timed fades. The patented and innovative DICHRO❋TUNE™ radial colour mixing system employs three sets of 16 radially mounted dichronic blades – magenta, blue, and amber – designed to produce a smooth, full spectrum of colour cross-fades.

First born in a family based on the use of continuous rotation, MAGIC PANEL 602 is a modular LED luminaire allowing for a broad range of diverse visual effects. Equipped with continuous double rotation in PAN and TILT mode, it’s able to display media thanks to it’s Arkaos KlingNet protocol or to be controlled via DMX RDM protocol through it’s XLR connectors. The display is made up of 36 15 Watt LED RGBW modules fitted with high-output 7,5° 45-mm optics, the unit runs on a sophisticated and particularly quiet cooling system and offers an overall luminous flux in excess of 14.000 lumen for a consumption of 600 Watt.

We have a series of fixtures from Chroma-Q in different sizes with a couple some nice features such as Amber LED + RGB mixing. They have really good colour mixing and every single LED has it’s own lens which deliver maximum light output and a con-tinuous even light flow from 0-100%. This is a great fixture for lighting backdrops and stage props. But don’t let your imagination end just with that, you have many different modes to choose from. And you can work with it in lots of different ways, from the simplest wash to a pix-el mapped mode in the set. They are built in a sturdy fashion, so you can tell by the weight that this is a high quality fixture.

Kino Flo’s new innovative Celeb 200 DMX LED is a soft, cool LED ideally suited for today’s growing demands for energy efficient, portable, yet color-correct LED lighting. The Celeb was developed using the latest technology to conform to Kino Flo’s highest standards – cool, color-correct, flicker-free and dead quiet, which is what sets the Celeb apart from all other LED’s. As with all Kino Flos, the Celeb’s soft, lustrous color has been specially formulated to match the spectral distribution curves of HD film and video cameras. With a high color rendering index (CRI 95), the Celeb operates cooly and flicker-free, even while dimming, and maintains its True Match® color temperature without any color shift. The all-in-one metal alloy fixture includes onboard and DMX dimming and runs universally at 100-240 VAC or 24 VDC. The push-button Kelvin presets can be fine-tuned to custom settings from 2700 K to 5500 K with a turn of a dial. Light levels do not change when selecting Kelvin settings. The Celeb’s slim profile is lightweight and mounts onto a baby stand or can be hung from a grid with a baby pipe clamp. With its soft, beauty light and compact, sturdy design, the Celeb makes a great tool for rigorous everyday use in any studio environment or on location.
