Spring 2019
Article 29 Education should develop your personality and talents to the full.
Dear Parent/Carer
With the SQA exams imminent after the Easter holidays it is vitally im-
portant that all young people in our Senior Phase, S4-S6, use the next two
weeks to revise. To help the young people with their exam preparation we
are running our annual extensive Easter School revision programme. I
would like to thank the staff who have are giving up their holiday entitle-
ment to teach at Easter School over the next two weeks.
After Easter we will be moving forward with evaluating the progress we have made with our 3-
year, 2018-2021.
Thank you for taking part in the recent East Renfrewshire
Council questionnaires which will inform any changes to our
improvement agenda over the next 3 years. I have been consulting with a group of senior pupils on potential
improvements to our school uniform for next year and I am
pleased to share with you a new addition to the S6 uniform in
the form of an S6 kilt (below). An updated school uniform leaf-
let will be issued to all parents in May 2019 to provide you with
details and options on the school uniform for 2019-2020.
I wish you all a wonderful Easter break.
Achievements at Woodfarm
Acknowledging the achievements of our pupils is exceptionally important to us at Woodfarm High
School. Talent and hard work deserves to be recognised and also allows pupil to contribute points
to our House Competition.
To make it even easier to let us know about pupil achievements, we have created an online form
that can be completed in seconds at any time or place. Use the link below and it will take you straight to our online form. It only takes moments to fill in
and can be used on any device.
