Summer has been great, hasn’t it! Especially when those awesome Delta Breezes kick in. Our WONA board has been busy planning some fun treats for all at this year’s National Night Out (NNO) at Elliott Park from 6-8 pm. We will have fire and police vehicles for kids of all ages to enjoy peeking in, sitting in, and exploring. There will be free ice cream, a delish $1 Deal Dinner of BBQ hot dogs, chips, and water (while supplies last). Plus there will be live music by our local Acoustic Light Rock band, Of the Heart. (Be sure to check out their Facebook page, www.facebook.com/oftheheartband . Not to mention fun facepainting, cool classic cars, and a lovely evening to meet your neighbors here in the Woodcreek Oaks Neighborhood! Volunteers, as well as food and money donations are welcome and a great way for local businesses to WONA MEETING: Our next regular meeting would normally be September 5, 2016. Since that is Labor Day, we will not have a meeting til October 3, 2016, at 7pm – location will be announced in next newsletter and on Facebook. We will have our normal meeting then, complete with police officers sharing crime updates, safety tips, and more about our area. We look forward to seeing y’all there! WONA Summer Fun Continues!

Summer has been great, hasn’t it! Especially when those awesome Delta Breezes kick in. Elliott Park is at 1421 Cushendall Drive, Roseville CA 95747. There are restrooms, playgrounds, a basketball court, soccer field, baseball/softball field, and grass volleyball field, so feel free to bring sports equipment if you’d like See you soon!!!!

Additionally, an outdoor fire can be used for the cooking of food. What can be burned? ONLY dry vegetation/wood and clean unpainted untreated dry lumber with a small amount of starter materials, such as hay or small kindling, can be burned. Flammable liquids shall not be used.
