NYI FUNDRAISERS

Let us help you shop for Christmas, wrap gifts or enjoy some quiet time before the rush of the Christmas season. The teens will be offering babysitting services on Saturday, December 3 and 17 from 9 am to noon. Rates are as follows: $25 for first child and $5 for each additional child. Look for electronic regis-tration soon!

On Monday, December 5 from 4:30–7:00 pm we will be at Chick-fil-A for Spirit Night. Join us for some good food and fellowship. What is Spirit Night?

Come and have dinner at Chick-fil-A. Make sure you mention SHCN and our youth group will get 15% of the profits. Take a break from the kitchen, enjoy some fellowship with your church family and help our youth group. Thank you for your continued support!

Women’s Evening Bible Study

Ladies, you are invited to join us as we begin our study on the books of Colossians and Philemon on Friday, January 6, 2017. We are taking orders for the study books now. We need to know by November 18 if you will be joining us for this study. Call Joanne Marsh at 412.831.6333 to reserve your book. The cost of the book is $7.00. Each lesson stands on its own and the “homework” can be done in one sitting. We will start distributing the study books at our Christmas Party on December 2, which you are invited to attend. There will be “homework” over the holidays, so we can “hit” the ground running when we resume on January 6, 2017. Bring a friend!

Children’s Ministry...

Pre-School/Kindergarten Volunteer Needed Two volunteers are needed to be a helper in the preschool/kindergarten class during the Sunday school hour one time per month. If you are interested in helping with this ministry please contact Nancy Clements or Hannah Baird.

2's and 3's Teacher Needed If you enjoy ministering to the little toddlers of the church, please consider spending time with them on Sundays. The 2's and 3's are in need of ONE more teacher to volunteer their time either during the first or second hour on Sundays. A 2's and 3's teacher will have a helper and set curriculum to follow. If Interested, please see Jessica Culbertson or Hannah Baird for more information!

Caravan… Please join us for Caravan! This is a Christian Scouting Program for kids that meets Wednesdays 6:45-8:15 pm for ages 4yrs-6th grade. Registration forms are available at the Take One Stand in the foyer or at the church office. For more information, please see Pastor Ryan or Hannah Baird.

Attention Parents!

There will be a Children’s Christmas Program on Sunday, December 11.

Children ages 2 through 6th grade are currently working hard during the first hour to practice for this special service

celebrating the birth of Jesus.

The 1st – 6

th grades are preparing to participate in a hand bell

choir. Each child has an important piece of music to play, so please be sure your child is here to play his/her part in the song. Additionally, mark your calendars for the final practice on Saturday, December 10 at 10:00 am. We will use this time to run through everything one last time to ensure a smooth production for Sunday morning.

All singers—teens and adults included—are invited to join in singing God’s praises. We will meet on the following days and times in the choir room:
