c"aracters !"ile t"ey are discovering t"eir identity or fig"ting against it. omen in &'t"

cent$ry did not "ave freedom and t"ey !ere t"reaten different t"an !omen today. In t"at time(

even t"o$g"t t"e middle class "ave already e)isted( t"e differences %et!een classes !ere more

"ig"lig"ted and "atred %et!een t"em !as easy to see. *ll t"at !as a%o$t men + men#s !orld(

men#s jo%( men#s position( men#s in"erency( men#s name( men#s family. It !as time for

a!akening( !omen started to reali,e t"at t"ey !ere p$ppets( first of t"eir fat"ers and later of

t"eir "$s%ands( some of t"em j$st decided to em%race t"at sit$ation %$t some of t"em tried to

re%el.
