    JENNIFER DE GUZMANJennifer de Guzman, world traveler and dreamcaretaker, was born during a drought-endingrainstorm in the San Francisco Bay Area. She hasworked as a professional writer and in the comics

    industry for more than a decade, spending manyof those years as editor-in-chief at SLG Publishing.In 2007, she received the Friends of Lulu Womanof Distinction Award. Currently, she is the PR andMarketing Director at Image Comics. Her comicswork can be found in two anthologies from thatpublisher, Take the Book Off the Shelfand This Is aSouvenir.     CARLI IHDECarli Ihde is a relatively new member of the comicbook community. A recent graduate of the KubertSchool's class of 2011, Carli has been publishedin Vertigo comics and has worked with a numberof companies as a freelance illustrator. Her workcan be found in a number of different mediumsand venues and her style changes depending onthe project. Carli is constantly trying to widen herartistic horizon with new and unique projects suchas pumpkin carving and henna tattoo design, buther true passion will always be in the art of comic

    Robin Furth is the coauthor of Marvels bestsellingDark Tower comic book series. The first twocollections,The Gunslinger Bornand The Long RoadHome both won YALSAs Great Graphic NovelAward for 2008. The Gunslinger Born was alsonominated for an Eisner and a Harvey Award. Shehas adapted Sherrilyn Kenyons Lords of Avalonseries into graphic novel form and has contributedto Marvels Legion of Monstersand to several other

    anthologies. She is the author ofStephen Kings TheDark Tower: A Concordance, Volume I(nominated fora Locus Award), Stephen Kings The Dark Tower: AConcordance, Volume II, and Stephen Kings The DarkTower: The Complete Concordance, all of which grewout of her long-time work as Stephen Kingsresearch assistant. As well as continuing to dofreelance work for the Master of Horror, she isfinishing up a novel.

    TRINA ROBBINSAward-winning herstorian and writer Trina Robbinshas been writing books, comics, and graphic novelsfor over forty years. Her 2009 book, The BrinkleyGirls: the Best of Nell Brinkleys Cartoons from 1913-1940 (Fantagraphics), and her 2011 book, Tarpe

    Mills and Miss Fury, were nominated for Eisnerawards and Harvey awards. Her 2010 all-agesgraphic novel, Chicagoland Detective Agency: TheDrained Brains Caper, first in a 6-book series, was aJunior Library Guild Selection. Her graphic novel,"Lily Renee: Escape Artist," was awarded a goldmedal from Moonbeam Childrens Books and asilver medal from Sydney Taylor Awards.
