Imagine a country where girls have to sneak out to go to school risking their lives if they were caught in the act during the study. This is Afghanistan under the rule of the Taliban. The twenty-two Shabana Basij-Rasikh, who runs a school for women in Afghanistan, tells her story.

In her family education was price and daughters was treasured. There was no question that children would receive an education, including daughters. She dreams big, but her family dreams even bigger for her.

She is a global ambassador of 10x10 and a co-founder of SOLA, the first school in Afghanistan, a country where Taliban still intimidate by bombs the families.

Today, more than three million girls are in school in Afghanistan. Seeing students in her school and their parents who advocate for them, who encourage them , she sees a promising future and lasting change. Afghanistan it's a country of hope and bounty possibilities, and every single day the girls of SOLA remind her that. Like her, they are dreaming big.

Tarzan, Queen of the Jungle

The hypothesis is she was mugged when she was four years old. Peraphs the kidnap went wrong and the kidnapper left the girl in the Colombian jungle.

Since that time the little girl lived with a group of capuchin monkeys. She learnt by them, their style of life, she learnt to move on the tree, ate bananas and berry wild and communicated with animals by the same guttural sounds!

At age ten, she was discovered by a pair of hunters. The society was to reclaim her! In exchange for a parrot they sold her to a brothel in Cucuta, Colombia. When she learned that she was to be groomed for prostitution, she made her plans to escape. But her adventure wasn’t over yet...

She has publishedin 2012 an autobiography book

When she was 18 years old, a colombian family picked her up from the street and kept her as a servant. When the family moved to Bradford, England, she met her present husband. Many years later she decided to talk to him about her past.

Marina Chapman actually is 60 years old.Two years ago she went back to Colombia to find her biological family.

The authorities didn’t allowed her to go in the jungle.
