WOLVES HUNTINGWolves are good hunters. They hunt their prey. They hunt for deer, moose, elk and bison. They also eat beavers, rabbits, and mice. Wolves hunt in packs. Females usually do the hunting because they are faster. A wolf pack practices their hunting skills and always works together.

A gray wolf‘s kingdom is Animalia. That means it is a member of the dog family. A wolf is the largest dog

species on earth.

Wolves run fast. They run up to a speed of

65 kilometers per hour. Wolves can cover hundreds of miles in a day.
