Following our Seminar inMarch, I went to Chattanooga,Tenn. for a Rally Day sponsoredby the Chattanooga chapter ofthe F.G.B.M.F.I. This Rally

was held on Friday night and allday Saturday, M a r c h 22, 23.Here the Lord met us in a mostunusual way and I believe I hadthe g r e a t e s t anointing tominister on Saturday night thatI have had for many a year.

I ministered in the FaithMemorial Church in Cleveland,Tenn. from Sunday, March 24to Wednesday, March 27 whereRev. M.E. Littlefield ispastor-

ing a lively and thriving church.Then on Friday I flew with mygood friend, Norvel Hayes, toFlorida to speak at the Rally atLakeland, Florida sponsored bya nearby F.G.B.M.F.I, chapter.Here again the anointing of theLord was rich and productive.

On Sunday, March 31, I ministered in Calvary Assembly inOrlando, Florida. We had two

wonderful services here with anumber saved, baptized in theHoly Spirit and healed.

On Tuesday, April 1, I drovefrom Cleveland, Tenn. to Leb

anon, Ohio and while staying inthe home of our good friends,Blaine and Helen Amburgy, conducted a Holy Spirit Seminarin Kettering, Ohio, a suburb ofDayton, Ohio. This was a six

day s e m i n a r and a goodlynumber were filled with theHoly Spirit.

On Sunday night, April 7, wespoke in the First BaptistChurch in Centerville, Ohio.Here again the Lord manifested Himself in our midst andwe had a "Pentecostal" service in this Baptist Church.There were nine or ten filledwith, the Holy Spirit in this oneservice. Rev. Garfield Judkins

is pastor of this growing church.I conducted a Faith Seminar in

Kokomo, Indiana in cooperationwith the F.G.B.M.F.I, chapterfrom April 11-16, and anotherSeminar in April in Muncie, In

diana.During the month of May I will

be in the Chicago area speakingt o s e v e r a l F.G.B.M. chaptermeetings and will end the monthof May at the Greenlake, Wise.

As many of you know, fouryears ago the Lord gave me aprophetic vision of 1968 andthen last year a prophetic utterance concerning this year. If youdid not get a copy, write andask for Vision, 1968 and it will

WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE

The believer whose eyes havebeen opened to the comprehension of his t h r o n e rights in

Christ should begin to exercisethe spiritual authority which hasbeen conferred upon him. Themoment he does, though, hemust realize that he is a markedman.

Therefore, the devil will doeverything in his power to keepyou from coming to this knowledge. Then after you do, he' lloppose you and try to steal it

from you. There will be testsand some will fall. The devilwants you to throw up your

hands and say that it won't workfor you. One time a man cameto me in a meeting when Iwas preaching on this and toldme that it wouldn't work for him.I told him if it didn't work,then God was a li ar . This manwas the same as calling God aliar. I'd rather die than to saythat God's Word doesn't work.If it didn't work, it's because



I didn't work it. God's Word

doesn't fail. The enemy bitterlyresists your entrance into hisdomain because he's exercisingthe authority of the powers ofthe air and wants to continue toexercise them. He resents interference. He'll concentrateall his forces against you in anintensive warfare. If attacksagainst your spir it are successfully resisted, then assault will

come in mind, body, family, orcircumstances. You might aswell get ready for them becausethey're coming.

The place of special privilegehas become a place of specialdanger. There is no truth thatencounters such opposition asdoes the a u t h o r i t y of theb e l i e v e r . The Spirit prayed

through Paul that the eyes of thepeople would be opened, thatthey would know the full p rovision that had been made fortheir s a f e t y . I've seen goodpeople whom the devil has triedt o o v e r t h r o w . They've endeavored to teach these truthsor have been taught these truths.They've endeavored to act uponthe Word of God. Many timesthey've been overthrown in bodybecause they couldn't be ov erthrown in spirit. The devil hastried to defeat them in any wayhe could. Safety had been provided for them, and if they wouldhave taken advantage of it theenemy could not have defeatedthem.

The b e l i e v e r must be constantly arrayed with c e r t a i nkinds of armor. E p h e s i a n s6:10-17 s ays , " F i na l l y mybrethren, be strong in the Lord,

and in the power of his might.Put on the whole armor of God,that ye may be able to standagainst the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not againstflesh and blood, but againstprincipalities, against powers,against the rulers of the darkness of this world, againstspiritual wickedness in highplaces. Wherefore take unto you

the whole armor of God, that yemay be able to withstand in theevil day, and having done all, tostand. Stand therefore, havingyour loins girt about with truth,and having on the breastplate ofrighteousness; And your feetshod with the preparation of thegospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewithye shall be able to quench allthe fiery darts of the wicked.And take the helmet of salvation, and the swordof the Spirit,which is the word of God."

The different parts of thisa r m o r symbolize c e r t a i nspiritual attitudes which the believer must maintain. Wearingthis armor , the believer is protected and unhampered in hisminist ry of authority. All he

needs to be concerned about isthat he keep his armor brightand well secured about him.

First, there's the girdle oftruth, which represents a clearunderstanding of God's Word.

Like a soldier's belt, it holdsthe rest of the armor in place.Second, there is the breastplateof righteousness. This has atwofold application, for first ofall Jesus is our righteousness.First of all we put Him on. Italso indicates our active obedience to the Word of God. Third,our feet are shod with the' preparation of the gospel of peace.This is a faithful ministry heralding the Word of God. Fourthis the shield of faith. We knowthat a shield is a covering forthe whole body. This indicatesour complete safety and refugeunder the blood of Calvary,where no power of the enemy can

penetrate.Then there is the helmet of

salvation, which is referred toin I Thessalonians 5:8 as thehope of salvation. The hope ofsalvation is the only helmet thatis able to protect the head inthese days of turning from thetruth. Then finally there isthe sword of the spirit, which isthe Word of God. This shows that

the Word of God is to be usedin an active sense. The otherweapons are more or less defensive ones.

The 18th verse says, "Praying always with all prayer andsupplication in the Spirit, andwatching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for

al l saints." We are.ready for theprayer fight now because we've

got on the armor. Praying inthe Spirit gets the job done.

AUTHORITY OVER DEMON

. SPIRITS, NOT HUMAN WILLS

Although we have authorityover devils and demons, we donot have power over our fellow

men or their wills. A few yearsago while preaching a camp

meeting in California, a pastorfriend of mine from Fort Worthaccompanied me. He had sugardiabetes and had to check hisurine every morning for sugarcontent to determine how muchinsulin he needed. He had togive himself a shot every day.As we were leaving for Cali fornia, I told him, "You won'tregister any sugar as long asyou're with me ." I claimedauthority over that disease. Helooked at me as if he didn'tbelieve me, but he was withme almost two weeks and neverregistered any sugar. He evenate pie and cake, yet his testsshowed no sugar. He later toldme that he was home three daysbefore he started registering-sugar again.

You see, I had control overunseen forces but I didn't havecontrol over his will. I could

control it as long as he was withme and this unseen force was inmy presence. I tried to convincehim that he could do tha^samething, but he expected it to comeback and it did.

We don't have control overhuman wills, but we do haveauthority over the devil who endeavors to maintain controlover these wills. Years ago
