The freely designed and space-defining installations

comprise an important part of our WL1 collection. The

starting point for creating the right lighting solution is

to closely consider the building architecture and intended

function of the lighting.

From the first sketch, via lighting calculations through

to CAD constructions, production and assembly, we help

lighting designers, architects and building contractors to

achieve the perfect lighting solution.

THE TASK: DEVELOP An InSTALLATIOn fOR A DInInG AREA WITH REfEREnCE TO THE SPATIAL AXES

The conceptual idea of the architect was to give the house

a spacious central area. Creating an open and vibrant

atmosphere was also a key design objective. Furthermore,

the aesthetic experience should harmoniously fuse inside

and outside.

The basic and functional lighting for the 5.3-metre-high

dining room/atrium as well as ambient lighting for the

adjacent living spaces should be closely aligned to the

architecture and interior-design concept.

THE fInISHED PROJECT

The building contractors are pleased with the perfectly

executed installation. The individual lighting groups can

be selected, and different lighting combinations are

programmed. The lights can be controlled via iPad/WLAN.

On the following pages, you will find ideas and inspiration

for incorporating the WL1 creatively in your project.

Our many lighting components, over 30 diffusers and

decorative elements leave nothing to be desired.

If you have any further wishes that can’t be fulfilled by our

collection, we will be happy to find the right solution for you.

From a large range of lighting options – from Halogen

LV through to high-performance LED under crystal balls –

only certain ones will make the cut, depending on

their intended use.

In this project, two of our illuminants were used in the

cylindrical diffusers, the ceiling baldachin is a custom-made

design for this project:
