Preface This document describes the new features, modifications and error corrections effected in Release 9.2.1.93 of WISH Front Office. This document also includes instructions for installation of these features at a site where WISH.NET Front Office is already installed. The installation activity must be carried out by a trained Systems Administrator who has knowledge of WISH Front Office and the relevant Microsoft products (Windows 2003/2008 server, SQL Server 2000/2008) and Crystal Reports from Seagate Technologies. Checklist of activities to be performed is part of this document. Please fill the checklist and forward a copy of the same to Prologic First. The upgrade / installation procedure is largely automated through ‘scripts’. Please read the installation instructions carefully and follow them diligently. In case of any difficulties, please record the problem faced in detail including any error messages encountered, the identification of the step where you encountered installation problems, etc. With the record of the difficulty faced, please call your Prologic First support office.

System Setup -> Report Setup New Link “Default DSR Generation” added to generate Default DSR with Code as “DEFA”

Following Modifications/Changes have been added in 9.2.1.93 release:

Guest Screen – New

If Allotment checkbox is “Yes” and Guest is for TA/Corp then radio button in Allotment panel should be checked accordingly. e.g. If Booking is through Corporate, And Use Allotment = “Yes” then Radio button inside Allotment Panel should be checked.

In Address Details Panel, Field size of “Web” increased to 255. Previously it was 24.

In Transaction Register Report, New Report “Transaction Register with Tax Info” has been added This report will show details having CGST/SGST/IGST/OTHER/SVCH/VAT/UNDEF/MTAX/MVAT.

Guest

If FIT booking is with TA/Corp and Allotment exists for that TA/Corp then it will prompt User “Allotment exists, Do you want to book against Allotment?” If User choose “Yes” then it will Allotment Flag will set and Booking will continue to make booking against Allotment.

Cash Receipt

Cashiering –> Split Transaction

Split Charge Screen has been modified to show Currency. Note: If Transaction Posted is with different currency other than local Currency code then transaction Amount will show Forex Amount to split. Else it will show Local Currency Amount to be split.

Cashiering –> Taxes on Advances

New Advance Control “ADVTAX” has been introduced. Default Char Value : N Default Int Value : 0 If Char Value = Y then it will charge tax on advances. Int Value used for G/L distribution Int Value = 0 means G/L Distribution on Checkout. Int Value = 1 means G/L Distribution on Checkin. Following configuration is required

In Parameter Setup -> System Setup -> MIS Code Setup -> Domicile Code ISO Code has been added, Script modified to update Standard ISO code for each domicile code.

Scanner

In case of Samsotech Scanner, if it is giving Nationality Code as ISO code and in WISH it is defined as 2 char then due to missing mapping, it is not validating data and User has to manually edit the nationality code as per WISH.

So More Images and Accompanying Pax Modified to look at mapping table. This check Nationality Code (Scanned value) with domicile code if valid then assigns that value else this checks again with ISO Code if matches then use the domicile code of nationality code. e.g. Scanned Nationality is IND WISH is having Domicile Code : IN and ISO Code as IND If Scanned value is : IN then IN will be assigned. If scanned value is IN then it will validate ISO Code which is IND and will assign Domicile Code as IN for that booking. If scanned value not found in Domicile/ISO Code then it will throw Invalid Code message.

AR Module – REMOVED.

From this version onwards, AR Module will not be available as part of 9xx series.

Settlement Report

Settlement report and Bill Wise Settlement Report (Excel) has been modified to add Time Arrive/Time Depart. Sample Excel report is located at “wishfo921Patch93\Frontend\Reports\Excel\sample-BWR.xlt” Change this to BWR.xlt to view the same from Site specific reports To add parameter into RR01.xml, refer to “Sample_RR01_BWR” as part of “wishfo921Patch93\Frontend\Reports\XML”

Guest Screen Existing and New

Interfaces -> It was throwing error while loading Interfaces Screen if following configuration value is missing, [WISH] TIMEOUT=60000 This has been fixed.

If User was disabled, then system was allowing to login with correct password, has been fixed. This case happened if Active Flag = Y for that User ID.

Wishnet - Interface String Issue - Sharer Room Transfer Become New Check In, has been fixed.

BOB Details

Overview Most of the hotels have been asking for Business on Books and for Revenue Management interface this is another important function where next ‘n’ number of days forecast is passed. Some hotels want BOB for next two months and some wants for 4 months and some hotels ask for 6 months. Also some hotels want to compare the forecast of what was forecasted for the same period a month before. Example, if in Jun forecast for Aug was 80% occupancy, they would like to know when BOB for July is done whether forecast has reduced from 80% as compared to previous month. This they would like to do so that bookings are not shown just to show it to Management later cancelling the bookings. Some hotels also want BOB by Statistical code wise like Room type wise, Market Segment wise, etc. However in such a case they don’t want comparison with previous figures. In this release we will not cover Statistics wise data population. Once BOB is done population of data Statistical wise will be considered, as there are hotels which does not

want BOB for TA/Corp/Nationality/Rate/Domicile. Hotels are mostly looking for only two types i.e. Room Type and Market Segment. Hence, this will be taken in next phase. New entry in Advance Controls for Business on Books Populate for n number of days. Note: Change Business Date program will be modified to populate the BOB table after business date has been changed. This will show data for 12 months starting from As on Date, On click on each row Graph will be shown at right as per Description. In Multiview Statistical Chart Button, when User clicks on it, it will show following image as “Statistical Details”. Note : Chart Type will have an option to View Bar Chart or Line Chart, Click on Refresh after selecting options as shown in below image.

Detail breakup also available, refer to following image, If user double click on January Month it will show detail breakup of January month figures. On Double Click, it will show detail breakup of that month. e.g.
