9 Do all bidders have to meet the Business Inclusion Requirements?
Yes. Business Inclusion will be included within each Bid Package. Each bidder is asked to identify their commitments at the time of bid and award; and demonstrate due diligence and best effort for finding project partners. Business Inclusion will be part of the consideration for award.
10Will there be opportunities for administrative consultant firms to participate ?
Firms that are interested in providing administrative support for the Wisconsin Center Project are encouraged to contact the Prime or awarded bidders for the Project.
11 Who defines if an MBE is available or if an SBE will be accepted?
Contractor to provide information on why MBE/WBE/DVB firms are not available and the available SBE firms. Cross Management will review and confirm.
12I understand the furniture is part of Bid release #5 but will furniture be part of Gilbane's scope of work or will it be a direct agreement with WCD?
Furniture will be purchased directly by CAA ICON on behalf of the Owner. Timing is still open but is anticipated to be around the time of Bid Release #5.

No not at this point. Budgets have been completed through the Schematic Design (SD) level. Once Design Development (DD) documents are available, the remaining budgets will be completed in-house.
6Will contractors get minority participation credit for dollars spent purchasing items, such as PPE from a certified supplier?
Yes, as long they are purchasing safety equipment or other equipment from a MBE, WBE or DVB-certified supplier - contractors will receive credit.

As long as they are an authorized distributor, they will receive credit on the full purchase price. However, we are limiting the percentage of MBE, WBE or DVB inclusion that comes strictly from material supply.
