The truth of the matter is that American Manufacturing struggles with producing products as fast as foreign competitors. Several of our domestic competitors have switched to buying critical components from overseas suppliers in order to speed up production and reduce cost. Gardner Denver continues to use domestic suppliers and vendors to produce their components. Some of these vendor relationships have existed for over 100 years.
