On Saturday Dec.14, join us as we welcome 2013 Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest® Boat Parade Grand Marshals, Ryan Hunter-Reay and a surprise Grand Marshal, to South Florida’s most acclaimed holiday event. They will be aboard the Floridian Princess presented by JM Lexus riding on the Nova Southeastern University bow, waving to more than one million spectators along the 12-mile parade route.

As the Grand Marshal of the 42nd Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest® Boat Parade, Ryan Hunter-Reay, is a Fort Lauderdale hometown hero and a highly decorated IndyCar racer. Hunter-Reay is the first American to win a unified IndyCar title since 1994 and the most successful American driver currently competing in open wheel competition. In 2007, Hunter-Reay was awarded Rookie of the Year for the IndyCar series after competing in only six of the 17 events. Also, in 2008, he was named Rookie of the Year for the Indianapolis 500. Since 2010, Hunter-Reay has driven for the world-famous Andretti Autosport

team and has recorded nine career victories in IndyCar competition. Amidst his acclaimed career, Hunter-Reay is also a husband to wife, Beccy, and father to son, Ryden. The Parade’s second Grand Marshal was not announced at the time this Souvenir Journal was printed.
