UNIFORM & EQUIPMENTClothing should include a shirt with skirt or shorts, which should not be predominantly white. Non marking shoes only are allowed. Players must provide their own bats. For Open Singles ITTF regulations require that one surface of the bat is bright red and the other black. The cover rubber needs to be authorized by the ITTF. Match balls are supplied, training balls not.

REGULATIONNo offside. All free kicks are direct. Once goalkeepers have control of the ball in the hands, they may not kick it. It must be thrown out underarm. All offences by the defending team within the penalty area shall result in a penalty kick. No direct back passes after receiving the ball from the goalkeeper. Rolling substitution. No ball height restrictions.

FORMATPool play and elimination tournament scoring system.Each match is a minimum of two 15 minute halves with 2 minutes changeover. When an elimination match is drawn at full-time, two 3 minute halves of extra time are played. If, after extra time there is still no result, each team takes 5 penalties, followed by sudden death.

UNIFORM & EQUIPMENTTeams must wear appropriate numbered matching shirts. Each player is advised to wear shin pads and must wear shoes without spikes. Match balls are supplied. Practice balls are not. No spikes.
