1. Participants must register and pay before attending a program. To register, complete the two page registration form. Then bring or mail your completed form with payment to the address below. 2. Opportunities for Inclusion staff will be responsible for communicating with the applicant relative to assessment, support, program availability and program regulations. Opportunities for Inclusion staff will make final admission decisions. 3. Please contact Michael Mullins, Recreation Manager with any questions about accessibility and participant’s stamina and mobility requirements. 4. Due to the popularity of many of the activities we ask that you call or email in advance to reserve a spot before sending in your registration! 5. Once admitted, participants must make the commitment to attend each class. Preparation of materials is dependent upon the number of people registered. If you are not able to attend, please notify Opportunities for Inclusion staff at 781.899.1344 Ext. 0. No refunds for missed activities. Opportunities for Inclusion regrets that we cannot refund any portion of an ongoing activity which we may cancel. If a one time event is cancelled, you will be credited for the class, if we cannot reschedule. 6. Registration in any program may be limited due to staff and/or space limitation. Be sure to register as soon as possible. To know whether a program is full, please call before sending in registration and payment. 7. No participant is to be dropped off or left at any activity without a Recreation Assistant being present. 8. Pick up at the end of an event must be prompt. Please cooperate with this request. 9. If an individual needs one-on-one assistance for daily living activities, medical and/or behavioral needs, it is the responsibility of the family and/or Residential Staff to provide care for that participant.

Date: Saturday, December 28th Time: Drop off: 8:30 AM Pick up: 2:30 PM Location: Pick up & Drop off: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham MA Details: Rev up for non-stop fun with four of your favorite Disney stories at Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Enchantment. Thrill to high-speed stunts as Lightning McQueen, Mater and the crew of Disney Pixar’s Cars race across the ice! Dive into adventure with Ariel and The Little Mermaid’s undersea kingdom. The toys are back in town with heroic action when Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the Toy Story gang escape from Sunnyside Daycare and race for home in their most daring adventure! Plus, enter the wintry world of Arendelle with sisters Anna and Elsa and pals Olaf and Kristoff from Disney’s Frozen as they learn that true love comes from within. We will watch a classic movie with friends right at Woodland Road. You can dress as your favorite Disney character or just share what your favorite Disney moments are. I Love Dance Cost: $60 Opportunities for Inclusion Participants/$70 General Community. Includes chaperones and professional instructor. Dates: Tuesday, December 3rd Tuesday, January 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th Tuesday, February 4th & 11th Time: 4:15-5:00 P.M Location: Meet at: Center Stage, 881 Main St., Waltham, MA Details: I LOVE DANCE is the place to be. Lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party hosted by professional dance instructor Annie Close in her private studio. I LOVE DANCE classes feature the newest moves set to popular party music. You can even request to learn dance moves to your favorite song. After class, you will be able to show off your moves at one of Opportunities for Inclusion’s dances. Everyone moves to their own beat and at their own pace. Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers! Minimum: 5 people Maximum: 10 people

Date: Friday, December 27th Time: Drop off: 5:00 PM Pick up: 9:00 PM Location: Drop off & Pick Up: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham MA Details: An all-new Holiday Blink! show will light up the Marketplace. Faneuil Hall Marketplace continues the annual tradition of having the largest tree in the northeast, an 85-foot fir tree adorned with decorations and sparkling lights synchronized to music to provide entertainment for visitors who want an authentic New England holiday experience. This year’s show is all new with more lights, more music, more color, more sound and more fun. We will also have time to shop at the Marketplace as well as a visit to Christopher Columbus Park and Rose Kennedy Greenway. In case of severe winter cold, we will attend an indoor activity and visit stores to shop. Due to the popularity of this trip, please RSVP by phone or email before sending in your registration! Whether you are a fan of this class or have never tried it before, come get on the move with Marilyn Lefort as she teaches some classic and modern line dance techniques. Date: Wednesday, February 19th Time: Drop off: 5:00 PM Pick up: 7:00 PM Location: Drop off & Pick up: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham MA Details: Put your inhibitions away and spend a night in the limelight singing and dancing to songs you choose. Dress as the next American Idol, or come as you are. You can sing solo or have friends accompany you. This will be a fun filled no pressure environment for all. We’ll also have pizza, drinks and snacks as we turn Woodland Rd. into Center Stage. Minimum: 5 people Maximum: 20 people

Superhero Movie Night Cost: $20 Opportunities for Inclusion Participants/$25 General Community. Includes dinner, chaperones and Super Fun. Special guests will also join us bringing dance, music and arts to demonstrate and share. This group is open to the entire Opportunities for Inclusion community; all ages and interests are welcomed. Cost: FREE Date: Sunday, January 12th Time: 3:30-5:30 P.M Location: Brandeis University Hassenfeld Conference Center Details: Bring the whole family and join us for a FREE afternoon of exciting activities and snacks! Brandeis University hosts an annual Winter Carnival that brings together the whole community. Dates: Friday, December 20th Time: Drop off: 6:00 PM Pick up: 11:00 PM Location: Pick up & Drop off: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham MA Details: This holiday season make Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre's “The Nutcracker” part of your holiday tradition. Create memories that will last a lifetime with “The Nutcracker” which captures the true spirit of the season. Feast your eyes on the beauty and wonder of this captivating story played out on stage through inspiring music, breathtaking ballet and fantastic costumes. Professional musician James Jones will lead us in songs and dance in a fun interactive jam session. From oldies to the newest hits we will learn to create rhythms and have some fun. Date: Friday, February 7th Time: Drop off: 5:00 PM Pick up: 10:30 PM Location: Drop off & Pick up: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham MA Details: Tonight the Falcons take on Army West Point in an exciting match up. This will be an action packed fast paced game with exciting shots, saves and checks up and down the ice. The Falcons are one of the best teams in the Atlantic Division of Division 1 Hockey and have a brand new state of the art arena to enjoy the game. Meet up with all your friends to cheer Bentley on. Thrift Shop Night Cost: $40 Opportunities for Inclusion Participants $45 General Community. Includes dinner, chaperones and transportation. Date: Friday, January 17th Time: Drop off: 5:00 PM Pick Up: 8:30 PM Location: Pick up & Drop off: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham MA Details: You have heard the song, tonight you can experience the fun and excitement of bargain hunting at a thrift shop. Garment District and Boston Costume in Cambridge is the place to go to be hip. There are tons of clothes and costumes from old to new at discounted prices. Check out all the Levi Jeans or flannel shirts, army coats or gala gowns, you can even find a Darth Vader Mask. Grab something different to try on make yourself a runway model. It’s all here in a fun place with great music. Before thrift shopping we will stop for great food too. Minimum: 5 people Maximum: 9 people

Sewing with Chris Starting on Saturdays in January, tailor and fashion designer Chris Williams-Kalez will begin a hands on sewing class where you will learn to design and make fashions for yourself. Date: Saturday, December 21st Time: Drop off: 9:00 AM Pick up: 2:00 PM Location: Drop off & Pick Up: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham MA Details: Experience the timeless classic by Hans Christian Anderson. A.R.T.’s family holiday programming returns with a new musical adaptation of this beloved story! Born of a flower and growing to only a couple of inches tall, Thumbelina is worried she will never meet anyone her own size until she happens to catch the eye of Prince Cornelius of the Fairies. Included the show is interactive activities with actors for a fun filled day at the theater. Minimum: 5 people Maximum: 9 people

ArtLab Cost: $25 Opportunities for Inclusion Participants/$30 General Community. Includes artLAB, chaperones, and transportation. Date: Monday, December 2nd Time: Drop off: 5:30 PM Pick up: 8:00 PM Location: Drop off & Pick up: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham, MA Details: Bring out your creativity tonight at artLAB. The artLAB© is a drop-in self-directed and/or theme-based open expressive arts studio facilitated by ARTrelief™'s expressive arts therapists, students and/or artists. Come exchange ideas, make music, play and create art among other people of all ages, background and abilities. Minimum: 5 people Maximum: 9 people

Healthy Cooking Club Cost: $20 Opportunities for Inclusion Participants/$25 General Community. Includes dinner, chaperones and professional instructor. Dates: Thursday, January 23rd Time: Drop off: 4:30 PM Pick up: 7:30 PM Location: 31 Woodland Rd., Waltham, MA Details: This cooking club takes participants on a scrumptious tour across the globe. This month we will travel to Newton Community Farms for our class. Emphasizing fresh vegetables and whole foods, this course caters to those who are looking to add local and global spice and excitement to their diet while reaping the health benefits that come from choosing a fresh and natural based diet. Our instructor comes to us from Le Cordon Bleu and now is located at Newton Community Farms. This is a hands-on cooking club, not a sit-down lecture, so come prepared to be a chef for a night! Participants will dine on their culinary creations at the end of each class. Minimum: 5 people Maximum: 9 people

Location: Brandeis University Ages: Playgroup: 5-10, Tutoring/Mentoring: All Ages/Young Adult Details: SPECTRUM offers 3 unique programs for children and young adults who have developmental disabilities. Our tutoring and mentoring programs involve one-on-one sessions between trained Brandeis student volunteers and the children on the Brandeis campus. Our tutoring program works on developing academic performance in a subject where help is needed and our mentoring program works on developing social skills through a variety of games and activities. Mentoring and tutoring sessions take place one hour per week at a time which is decided between the volunteer and the child. Our playgroup program meets every Sunday on the Brandeis campus with a group of trained student volunteers and children. During playgroup, we have a structured schedule that involves arts and crafts, games, outdoor activities, and working on social skills. Don’t miss out on this wonderful and free opportunity!
