Welcome to our 11th annual bull sale. Well friends, the excitement is

back! Record calf prices have hit and its now time to start turning a profit

in the cow business. The bulls on offer are designed and developed with

todays cattleman in mind. They have to sire calves that are born easy,

wean big, have a ton of hair and look the part in the sale ring. Our

biggest goal and accomplishment is to see our customer's calves fetching

top prices and putting more money in their jeans. You guys do an awe-

some job and give us an incredible feeling of satisfaction.

Over the years, reading sale book after sale book, it surprises me to see

how many producers don't explain the herd health and feed program

their bulls are on. Bulls are breeding cattle, not feedlot cattle and should

be developed accordingly. At Winn Man we have nothing to hide. We

explain everything up front – cut 'n'dried, and in black'n'white. And the

best of all, you don't need a dictionary to understand our “cattleman's

common sense”.

- WE DON’T CREEP FEED, they are raised on mom's milk 'n grass.

- The bulls were weaned in late October and left in a 7 acre field till

January. This gives them plenty of exercise and builds a strong hoof.

- They are being fed a silage based TMR with a targeted gain of 3-4 lbs

/day. (Fat melts away during breeding season, muscle doesn’t!)

- They have been vaccinated for type 1 and 2 IBR/BVD twice with the

Modified Live Vaccine Pyramid FP5. They have had 2 Blackleg and

Haemophilus vaccinations and been treated twice with Ivermectin.

The mothers are also vaccinated for Type 1&2 IBR/BVD with Pyra-

mid FP5. Everything on the ranch is also on a full mineral program.

- All bulls are registered with the Canadian Charolais Association and

are age verified.

Please come early and be our guests for a complimentary roast beef lunch

and refreshments at noon. Even if your bull pen is full and you don't

need one this year, take the day off and come for a visit.

The Beyaks

Sight Unseen

We know our bull pen better than anyone. If you are unable to attend

our sale we will work with you over the phone or through the internet to

assist you with the purchase of your next herd sire. We can recommend

several bulls to suit your cowherd as you describe it to us. If you are not

satisfied upon delivery we will take him home. No questions asked!

Location

Watch the sale in comfort as it takes place in our heated sale barn. The

bulls are displayed in small groups for your viewing convenience. The

mothers and siblings to the bulls are on site for those of you that want

to have a peek.

Delivery

We will board your bull and deliver him at no charge. Make arrangements

after the sale or we will contact you regarding delivery.

Insurance

Protect your investment as your new bull is responsible for a large per-

centage of your next calf crop. An insurance representative will be on

hand sale day and we will pay 2% of any premium over 7%. We request

that all bulls left at Winn Man after the sale be insured.

What a meat machine! The Ali's were the talk of the barn at last years sale and theonly difference this year is there's more of em to talk about. Its freaky how fast thesecalves grow and the meat, muscle and sogginess that they posses. I don't know ifwe've ever had a bull add so much power to his offspring. He is a total outcross tomost cattle in the country and will definitely be a huge force in this breed.

This spring, the calving of our registered Charolais cows will

join our commercial herd which starts April 20. Therefore, this

will be the last offering of yearling bulls as from now on all bulls

will be grassed and held over for 2 year olds. We didn't want to

inconvenience our customers by skipping a sale so we decided

to juggle some numbers for the 2012 and 2013 sales resulting in

a few less bulls on offer. We culled our hardest this year and it

shows. The quality of the bulls retained for the next 2 sales is

DAMN POWERFUL! Looking to the future, we will be firing

with both barrels by 2015 with approximately 60 virgin 2 year

olds being offered. A first for Manitoba Charolais!

Terms and ConditionsTerms

The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par a the sale loca-

tion. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been

made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements

have been made. Every animals sells to the highest bidder and in cases

of disputes, the auctioneer's decision will be final. Current exchange

rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian Funds.

Bidding

Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be per-

mitted. Disputes-Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved

in dispute. If no further bidding is made the buyer will be the person

from which the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer's deci-

sion on all disputes will be final.

Announcements

All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence

over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay

close attention to such disclosures.

Breeder's Guarantee

All breeders guarantees prevail as outlined by the Canadian Charolais As-

sociation.

Exception Guarantee

In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical re-

production techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.

Certificate of registrations

Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Associ-

ation. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the

buyer for each animals after payment has been made.

Health

All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.

Liabilities

All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller and facility owner

assume no liability, legal or otherwise for any accidents that occur. The

buyer must look to the seller for fulfilment of all guarantees and repre-

sentation made hereunder.

The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract

between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of

animals, following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate trans-

action and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto

are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.

Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, wire or mail their bids and

instructions to the auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be
