Our cellars have been used for a wide selection of events over

the years including pop-up restaurants, album launches, pop-up

cinemas, jazz nights and art exhibitions. Contact us to discuss

Averys Wine Cellars is a unique venue for private events.

We regularly host wine tasting evenings for corporate

clients, wine societies and social groups.

The historic vaulted cellars in the heart of Bristol create

the perfect atmosphere for an engaging and informative

event, hosted by one of our wine experts.

The cellars can accommodate groups of 25 to 80 people

in an atmospheric setting. For private wine tasting events

and day or evening hire, the space is exclusively yours.

For every tasting, we will serve a minimum of 8 different

wines with a selection of artisan bread, cheese and pâté.

For tutored tastings, themed evenings and networking

events, our team of dedicated wine lovers can choose

from over 1000 different wines, tailoring each occasion

to your guests.

Wine Tasting Events

All tastings are £30 per person (including VAT) based on a minimum of 25 people.

Prices for smaller groups are available on request.

Silver Package £35 per person

Our in-depth courses offer you the chance to learn about the

world of wine and receive a global qualification provided by

the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. These courses are ideal

if you would like to expand your knowledge for enjoyment or

are looking to start a career in wine.

Wine Tasting Formats

Tutored Tasting

For those who would like to learn a bit more about wine. You’ll be

taken through the story, history and taste of an exciting line up from

our extensive portfolio.

The evening will include:

• Exclusive use of the Historic Cellars

• Champagne on arrival

• 7 wines (including a fine wine)

• Bread, cheese and pâté

Walk Around Tastings

With the backdrop of our historic cellars your group can freely

wander and sample from a wider selection of wines poured by our

knowledgeable staff.

The evening will include:

• Exclusive use of the Historic Cellars

• Champagne on arrival

• 12 wines from around the world,

especially tailored to your event

• Bread, cheese and pâté

Blind Tasting Competition

Your group will be split into teams who will work together to guess

the grape variety, country and price from our descriptions – don’t

worry it’s easier than it sounds!

The evening will contain:

• Exclusive use of the Historic Cellars

• Champagne on arrival

• 6 blind tasting wines

• Bread, cheese and pâté, plus a glass of

wine to accompany the food

• A prize bottle for each member

of the winning team
