Selvin NovemberWhen Selvin November was a child, he was

fascinated by people. He also knew he wanted

to be an artist. So it makes sense that he’d find

an affinity with portraiture. Today, he describes

his work as 'Afro-Pop'. It’s inspired by human

things like memory, community and identity.

It also bursts with colours and textures,

leaving us weak-kneed and open-mouthed.

Dion CupidoDion Cupido discovered his talent after helping a friend

with his homework. Mostly self-taught, Dion painted

expressive abstracts before getting into portraiture.

He joined the Creative Block and the Nando’s Artist

Society in Cape Town. When we witnessed his skills,

we swooned and bought him a ticket to London.

There, he learned more about Nando’s before

creating pieces for our collection. Since, he’s held

several solo exhibitions and sold work to Beyoncé!
