Required settings on Windows 7 for eDoX Step 1 (Configuration requirements for eDoX): Give permissions to required Windows User for following registry entries using “Regedit” software: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{AE3FED0E-26A0-4AB4-B41E-1C6428B93F53}] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{B7DD5FFB-910D-47C2-95A2-33C09FC0D15C}] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\EDoX.Document] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\EDoXEditor.Document] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\EDoxFilesMange.FileManger] Step 2 (Configuration requirements for Oracle Client): Follow the instructions given in following link: http://prasanth4microsoft.blogspot.com/2010/11/windows7-excel-vba-ora-01019-unable- to.html or do the following steps: 1) Change User Settings Navigate to : Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > "Change User Account Control settings" Set the value as "Never Notify". Click on Ok button. 2) Grant "Create global objects" Navigate to : Start > Run > gpedit.msc In Local Group Policy window, Navigate to : Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment" Select "Create global objects", right click and navigate to properties windows Click on "Add User or Group" button and add users to this group
