AADHAR BIOMETRIC ATTENDANCE SYSTEM
Prerequisites for ABAS Setup:-
1. ABAS application will run on window 7 and above
2. Microsoft .Net framework 4.0 or higher version is required in your system.
3. Windows administrative privileges are required.
4. Biometric device serial number must be registered at Vendor Management
Server (If device serial number is not registered, please contact to vendor support).
5. Activation code is required to on board the device.
Installation of RD Service Enabled Setup for Windows-Desktop Devices:-
Register Device (RD) Services:
UIDAI has introduced RD services in device installations as per latest security guidelines. Only those
devices (vendors) that are registered with UIDAI will be authenticated. To enable this facility, it is
required to install RD Service tool and ABAS device driver updation tool in the windows system. After
successful installation of both services, attendance marking will be enabled. Present system will be
discontinued in due course of time.

Installation of ABAS client application
After successful installation of RD Service, install ABAS client setup from the below link -
Step:1
Click Next button to continue.
Step:2
Select Installation folder path and click the next button.

Configuration of ABAS device for attendance marking:-
1. After completing the installation open your desktop then you will find a icon like below.
2. Right click on the icon go to properties select the compatibility tab and check the option Run
the program as an administrator like below fig.
3. Click ok button.

4. Connect your biometric fingerprint/Iris device to your computer and then start the TSTS-ABAS
icon on the desktop or go to start menu >> click TSTS-ABAS to open the ABAS application.
5. Application will open like below.
6. First it will check for the update weather it is a updated version or not if there is found any
update then it will download the new version of the application.
7. If the application is up to date then it will go for the furtherprocess.
Device Onboarding:-
1. The System connected with RD Service then it will go for the Device on Boarding Screen like
below.

2. Contact TSTS-ABAS District Coordinators for the Vendor activation keys.

3. Enter the Device activation code and click ok button.
4. The Device will get activated successfully and it will go for the Main Screen.

Main Screen contains Following Three Modules

Attendee Activation:-
1) To activate the Attendee click on Attendee Activation icon it moves to Attendee
Activation screen like below

2) Enter your attendee ID click on the fingerprint/Iris icons which is connected to your
system
3) Place your finger/iris to capture your Biometrics.
4) The Attendee will activated successfully and you will get a message box like below.

Device Management:-
6) To activate the Device click on device management icon it moves to device Activation screen like below
7) To activate the Device You should be a Nodal officer.

8) Enter your attendee ID click on the fingerprint/Iris icons which is connected to your
system.
9) Place your finger/iris to capture your Biometrics.
10) The device will activated and you will get a message box like below.
11) Click ok button and it will move to the Main screen.

Attendance:-
12) To Mark the Attendee click on Attendance icon it moves to Attendance screenlike
below.
13) Enter your attendee ID click on the fingerprint/Iris icons which isconnected to your
system.
14) Place your finger/iris to capture your Biometrics.

15) The punch will marked successfully you will get a message box like below.
16) Click on home button to go to home page.
17) Click on exit icon to exit from ABAS attendance marking process
