BMSline is a new line of chain actuators equipped with an electronic board that allows the installer to set features according tothe requirements of the installation.Moreover the actuators can be easily integrated in a Building Management System through a Gateway, in order to set thefeatures according to the requirements of the user at any time via BUS communication line and to get a real time feedback ofthe status of the window.The BMSline electronic board is installed in the QUASAR and VEGA series (Twin Quasar and Twin Vega included) with 24 Vdcvoltage supply.Parameters setting is possible when ordering, before or during installation, after at any time via BUS line, eventually fromanywhere in the world via web.

Connect the actuators to a BuildingManagement SystemThe UCS Gateway is able to translate the BMSlinecommunication BUS protocol (Modbus RTU) toother standard BUS languages (KNX, BACnet, …)for the integration of the window automation withother systems like heating, HVAC, sun control,etc. controlled by the Building ManagementSystem.

PNEUMATIC SYSTEMSfor Smoke and Heat Extraction in case of emergency

A series of pneumatic cylinders, valves, CO2 cartridges and other accessories are available to set up smoke and heat extraction systems in case of emergency,according to the requirements of the European standards EN 12101-2. These pneumatic cylinders can also be used for ventilation where compressed airsystems are available.

PNEUMATIC CYLINDERSDouble action cylinders: they can open andclose. Provided with a mechanical locking

device in the end stroke positions(cylinders with no locking device are also

available on request). Front or rear (onrequest) feeding. For two cylinders on the

same vent installation, use the version withno locking device.

CO2 cartridges standard size: 20, 30, 50, 75, 100 g

Available fusible links: 68°, 93° and 141°C

VALVES and PYROTECHNIC DEVICEIn response to a thermal or electric signal (when thepyrotechnic device is installed), the valve pierces the cartridgeand CO2 flows into the cylinder making the window open. Thepyrotechnic device is activated by an electronic control panelconnected to smoke or temperature detectors.

CHAIN OPENERSuitable for bottom, top or centre hingedwindows. Casing in anodized (silver, dark bronze) orpainted (white) aluminium.

LOCKING OPENERThe best solution for an economical andeasy installation on a bottom hingedwindow. Frame is painted zinc alloy(white, black and grey).
