Lupine FestivalGANSEVOORT – On Saturday, June 4, from 10am-3pm, Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park will be hosting a Lupine Festival at Historic Camp Saratoga on Scout Road in Gansevoort. The event will feature nature walks, live ani-mals, crafts and hands-on fun. All activities are offered free to the public. The Lupine Festival will also mark the fi rst day that the Cornell Hill Fire Tower will be open to the public. Triathlon at Hudson Crossing ParkSCHUYLERVILLE – Hudson Crossing Park (HCP), located at Lock 5 off Route 4 in Schuylerville, announces the 2nd annual Hudson Crossing Triathlon, scheduled for 8am on Sunday, June 12. Rain or shine. The USA Triathlon-sanctioned event consists of a 500-yard swim in the Hudson River, a 12-mile bike ride on scenic roads in Northumberland, and a 5k run along trails in Schuylerville. Over 200 participants have signed up and it will be an exciting race to come watch or help as a volunteer! Proceeds from this event will benefi t park development and the historic Dix Bridge restoration project, a central feature of HCP. Organizers of the Hudson Crossing Triathlon are look-ing for volunteers to point directions on the course, hand out water and other tasks on race day.
