•Will is often used to express a quick decision made at the time of

speaking (such as an offer for help).

•Be going to, however, shows that you have thought about something in

advance.

•Do not use be going to for quick decisions.

Present Simple & Progressive: Quick Review

•The present simple tense that is used to refer to events, actions, and conditions that are happening all the time, or existnow.

•The Present Progressive Tense indicates continuing action,something going on now.

e.x, She is working through the holiday break.
