Student Clubs and Organizations FairThis is an opportunity to check out a number of student clubs and organizations, from athletics and social interest groups to academic and multicultural organizations. Come by and introduce yourself and get your questions answered.

Admissions, Registrar and Orientation StaffRepresentatives from the Office of Admissions, Registrar and Orientation offices will be available on the first floor of the SURC to answer any questions you have about your admission status, transcripts/transferable credits or orientation registration.

University Housing and Dining ServicesRepresentatives from University Housing and Dining Services will be available on the first floor of Black Hall to answer any questions you have about the room assignment process, the housing deposit or meal plans. If you already have selected your room you are all set!

Jr. WildcatsThis session is designed for prospective students who have not yet applied and may be visiting Central for the first time. We will cover the admissions process and review the many opportunities that CWU can offer you in the future.

Navigating Your First Year at Central • Wellington Event CenterCWU seeks to create a seamless transition to campus. Our many student services are here to provide support through each phase. Academic Advising, Orientation, Mapworks, and FYE will share a brief description of how they help, and current students will share tips from theirown experiences.

Transfer Student Information • SURC 201Your experience as a transfer student will be different from first-year students in some ways and similar in others. Meet a few folks who will aid you in the unique aspects of your academic path.

CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) • 12:45-1:15 p.m. only • SURC 135,Cesar Chavez RoomCAMP is the College Assistance Migrant Program. It is a special program offered at CWU that provides financial and academic support services to first-year students from migrant and seasonal farm working backgrounds. CAMP is designed to help students succeed as they begin their college careers. CAMP students are eligible for a variety of services, which include: financial support, academic assistance, career planning services, and cultural enrichment opportunities.

Living Learning Communities (LLC) • SURC 202Living Learning Communities (LLCs) provide opportunities for students to develop relationships with faculty from a respective discipline in a residence hall setting. LLCs complement students’ classroom experience by providing lifelong learning opportunities. Through formal and informal activities, students’ connection with faculty results in greater understanding of their academic pursuit, affirmation of career choice, and enhanced preparedness for a career path.

CWU: Recovery Outreach Community “CWU-ROC” • 12:45-1:15 p.m. only • SURC 140The “CWU-ROC” is a housing and community project built with the idea that students in recovery have a place to call their own, providing a program designed to meet the wellness and recovery goals that celebrate students’ decisions to be in recovery from substance abuse and addiction. Students applying to live here will have access to faculty and staff focused on recovery and wellness, live with other students in recovery, and participate in activities and programs focused on recovery and academic success. All interested students are encouraged to attend this informational meeting to discuss the goals of the program and answer any questions regarding available space and community expectations.

Recreation Center Daily Pass: 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.All Wildcat Day visitors are encouraged to experience their Recreation Center for free during their stay. Passes will be available all day at the Recreation Center front desk. All participants

will be asked to sign a release on the day of the event. Participants under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a guardian; visitors must be 14 or older to participate.

Climbing Wall: 2:00-5:00 p.m.Your Recreation Center daily pass will give you access to the Climbing Wall during its scheduled

open hours. Day passes will be available for free for all Wildcat Day visitors at the Recreation Center front desk throughout the day.
