Day 6 Wadi Mujib & Wadi Ibn Hamad: After breakfast drive to Wadi Mujib, where you will hike the fun water Siq Trail (self-guided). This hike takes 3-4 hours. It is an easy hike into the main gorge of the Mujib River (the Siq). It starts at the visitor center near the Mujib Bridge, from where you take the cantilevered walkway over the dam and follow the course of the river between towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall. Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, the gorge may contain pools deep enough for swimming. It's an ideal walk to take slowly and enjoy the cool water and shade, especially in the heat of the summer. Despite being relatively easy, it does have hidden risks. The river bed changes after each winter flood and this can create deep pools and strong currents. Al-ways take care along the walk, avoid pools and rapids and respect any rope barriers. Wadi Mujib is via RSCN. Make sure to bring your camera along with water proof protection, unlike Black Iris Adventures they do not provide you with pictures afterwards. Lunch boxes are included for today from your hotel at the Dead Sea. Drive on to Wadi Ibn Hamad where you can enjoy the hot spring swimming pool in the afternoon. Tonight you will camp just out of Wadi Ibn Hamad. There is a toilet block here and tents are provided by Jezra Travel. In the late afternoon your wadi guide for tomorrow will come and meet you. He will also spend the night there. Dinner and overnight camping at Wadi Ibn Hamad. (B, L, D)
