Back Story: Wild Bill Gates is a river-boat gambler and entrepreneur who tends to turn up with dubious schemes whenever the action moves to America,

and occasionally takes his schemes to other countries. He is often seen running from angry mobs. He is a skilled gambler, quick-draw gunfi ghter, and occasionally competent computer programmer (using punched cards and tape, of course), famous for his slogan “Make Money Fast”. He is a loyal ally of Diana, with suggestions he would like to be a good deal more, and will reluctantly risk his life to save her. He is a friendly rival of Red Ken but regards Bonnie Prince Charlie as a wimp and Ron L. Hubble as slime.

Possessions: Several packs of playing cards (some marked), also punch cards, paper tape, and other programming equipment. A laptop computer. He has on several occasions appeared to be the owner of a riverboat (a different boat each time), but it’s possible that they were borrowed or stolen.

Weapons: A .44 magnum automatic (+2) and two tiny concealed pistols. No armour. Notes: A useful role model is Brett Maverick.
