PRE-INCUBATOR

Wikreate Labs defines itself as a “pre-incubator” because we get sooner into the start up formation process.

We start by recognizing an idea with business and growth potential -either generated by our internal teams or from our network of contacts – and then we begin a process to build a company around this idea.

The first step is to pre-validate the idea and its business potential – discard hare brained or unfeasible ones and/or reorient the idea if necessary.

To achieve that, Wikreate Labs´ team adopts for each particular case the best suited methodologies - already mentioned.

STEP 1: RECOGNIZING AND PRE-VALIDATING THE IDEA

Once the idea is validated, Wikreate Labs proceed to the “aligning and matchmaking” of the core team, future partners of the company to be created around the idea. These future partners will come from Wikreate Labs extended network of qualified and experienced professionals. Every team will fill out the three key functions for a successful newborn company:• CEO: Top level company management, relations with investors,

etc.• CMO: Marketing and Sales.• CPO: Product definition and development – should have previous

experience in the field.• CTO: For technology based products and companies.

STEP 2: TEAM FORMATION AND MATCHMAKING

Once the team is established we move to work on the “beta” or MVP of the product. This phase lasts 3 to 6 months aprox. We then refine the idea/product and confirm and consolidate the team.

Wikreate Labs supports and tutors the team throughout all this process.

STEP 3: BETA BUILDING AND LAUNCHING

Once the idea is validated, the beta is successfully launched and we are reassured that the team is the right one and get along well, Wikreate Labs incorporates an independent company with the equity and role distribution already agreed upon during Step 2.

Wikreate Labs takes a minority stake on each one of the new companies.

STEP 4: NEW COMPANY INCORPORATION

With the company already incorporated, the product well defined and the business and growth plans in place, the company goes, if necessary, through an incubation and/or acceleration process on the most adequate of our associated incubator and acceleration partners.

Wikreate Labs keeps supervising and tutoring the whole process.
