The traditional annual city internet project has finished in Samara.

This year it was dedicated to the 65th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War / II World War.

Every school team (3-6 pupils) of 6-11 graders with 1 or 2 teachers could participate. During 3 months teams

were creating the pages for the joint resource.

46 teams – almost 200 schoolchildren created 200 wiki pages.

Organizing committee (3 educators) conducted seminars, teaching wiki basics and then moderated the whole

process through wiki and mailing list.

Almost 200 publicly available pages were created on wiki server. These pages contain:

• unique interviews with fellow-townsmen, who lived through the war time

• stories about wartime memorabilia treasured in families• stories about photos, letters, documents of that time• stories about exhibits from school museums dedicated to war

time• photos and videos taken by participants.

Every page was revised by teachers-experts, who advised how to improve story and design. Teams then also advised each other how to do best and all participants worked on improving their illustrated stories.
