ASMET is pleased to invite you to join GALVATECH 2020 in Vienna.

The International Conference on Zinc and Zinc Alloy Coated Steel Sheet (Galvatech) is the premier international conference on cutting-edge technologies for the processing and performance of coated steel sheets for automotive, electrical appliance and construction applications.

Galvatech was born in 1989 in Tokyo as the first conference in a series, and has been held every three or two years since then.

The venue of the GALVATECH 2020 will be Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, easy to reach by public transportation from Vienna Airport and Vienna Train Main Station.

The Schönbrunn Palace in its present form was built and remodelled during the 1740-50s during the reign of empress Maria Theresa who received the estate as a wedding gift. Today Schönbrunn is Vienna‘s most popular tourist destination, the whole Schönbrunn complex includes the Tiergarten Schönbrunn (zoo), Palmenhaus, Wüstenhaus, the Wagenburg and, of course, the palace.
