WICC Carol Flood Memorial “ALL INDUSTRY” POKER RUN FOR CANCER

Cost is still only $25.00 for each poker hand (no limit on number of hands). All net proceeds will go directly to the Alberta Chapter of WICC. If you would like to make an additional donation you are welcome to do so, please indicate if a tax receipt is required. Registration will take place at 0900 at A&W Coffee Shop 70 Glendeer Circle SE (Glenmore at Deerfoot) at the rally muster point.
Local companies and brokerages in the Calgary region have provided corporate support, in the way of prizes for the best poker hands. The entire route will cover approximately 250 kilometers of the scenic foothills surrounding the city. We will conclude in Bragg Creek with refreshments and presentations. Come out, meet your peers, and join in a relaxing ride while supporting a worthy cause.
Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade was established in 1996 by a group of concerned insurance personnel who were saddened by the news of so much loss within our industry and wanted to take action to fight back. WICC’s mission is to mobilize the Canadian Insurance Industry in the fight against cancer by focusing on cancer research, support and education. Since its first event in 1997, WICC has raised well over $1,000,000. In the fight against breast cancer. WICC continues to grow and is represented by chapters across Canada.
Carol Flood worked in the Insurance industry in Calgary with CBL Insurance and Lundgren & Young Insurance, she passed away from cancer in December of 2002 and our fund raising efforts in this event have raised over $15,000 for WICC since 2003. Please come out and support this great cause.
